It should be a better motel in Greymouth. Generally, the problem with motels is that they smell bad and the furniture is old, but this one is relatively new and clean.

Spending New Year’s Eve here this year is particularly memorable! This is a rare hotel on the West Coast that feels close to a five-star hotel in every aspect, and it also has a very nice jacuzzi! Opposite the hotel is Bucclengh, the restaurant of the Centenary Hotel, and the New Year's Eve dinner is also served. It is highly recommended! After dinner, it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the beach (actually driving may be more comfortable haha)

Greymouth is a small town with a population of 10,000. The hotel apartment is about 500 meters away from the New World supermarket. There are kitchen facilities and parking is free. Very convenient to get in and out. Clean and hygienic, the price is not bad.
The only drawback is that it is close to a main road, so there will be some noise from big trucks going back and forth.

this was an excellent place with great help from the operator. Fantastic pub across the road with superb meals too! Only a small point: it's about 25 mins walk from Greymouth Central - which is doable, but a wee way down the road as they say in the South!

Comfortable room with everything we needed at hand. Bed was great - so we slept well, and air-con unit kept the room at a good temperature. Location is great and surprisingly quiet, given the main road outside. Easy parking on property and will definitely stay here again. Linz and Jo are great hosts.

A really great place to stay in Greymouth. A really spacious room that was spotlessly clean, very well appointed and with the heating on when we arrived. Centrally located with great parking we really enjoyed our stay. A couple of chairs to sit comfortably watching NETFLIX supplied by hosts.
We will certainly be back.
