It should be a better motel in Greymouth. Generally, the problem with motels is that they smell bad and the furniture is old, but this one is relatively new and clean.

Spending New Year’s Eve here this year is particularly memorable! This is a rare hotel on the West Coast that feels close to a five-star hotel in every aspect, and it also has a very nice jacuzzi! Opposite the hotel is Bucclengh, the restaurant of the Centenary Hotel, and the New Year's Eve dinner is also served. It is highly recommended! After dinner, it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the beach (actually driving may be more comfortable haha)

Greymouth is a small town with a population of 10,000. The hotel apartment is about 500 meters away from the New World supermarket. There are kitchen facilities and parking is free. Very convenient to get in and out. Clean and hygienic, the price is not bad.
The only drawback is that it is close to a main road, so there will be some noise from big trucks going back and forth.

We had a lovely, spacious and light corner top floor two bedroom apartment which had everything we needed for a three night stay. The apartment was clean and the beds comfortable. The Managers/owners were very responsive and helpful with a couple of minor hiccups.
