This hotel is really good. You can get there by crossing the zebra crossing after getting off the train at Grindelwald Terminal. The bus terminal is right in front of the hotel. There is a coop 100 meters to the left for shopping. Check-in is at 3pm, but you can leave your luggage at the hotel first, get a guest card to go out, and come back in the evening to get the room card to check in.
We stayed in a mountain view room with a balcony facing the huge Eiger Mountain. The room was very clean and worthy of a three-star rating. The typical Nordic breakfast provided scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, various hams and toasts, which was very satisfactory. The ground floor is not part of the hotel, but a restaurant that provides Swiss special cheese pot. All in all, this hotel is definitely worth staying in.
