Highly recommend the White House for stayover between Cape Town and Windhoek. Lovely sunsets and the most amazing stargazing opportunity awaits you on a cloudless night. Friendly check in by Nita and her husbsnd show us to our chalet. Do yourself a favour and book the supper. Our table in the chalet was laid when we arrived and the most amazing food arrived later piping hot and ready to be served. This is our regular stopover when we visit our kids in Windhoek.

The de Wets hospitality is off the charts, hence we keep coming back. This was our third stay on this very special, working farm. It is very convenient for a night's stop over, you get to stretch your legs with a walk around the hill, freshen up in the reservoir swimming pool and then dine on a scrumptious braai pack delivered to your door - home baked bread with salads and as my husband puts it - "the best sheep you have ever tasted". There is a variety of accommodation options including a camp site. All beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean with homely touches. This is also a rose quartz farm so in their reception area they have some beautiful treasures for sale. Highly recommend The White House.

Meal and accommodation was top notch and really much appreciated after camping for 17 nights. We were still surprised with dinner although warned in advance by my son. Enjoyed the old world charm and the surprise padkos. To walk into a cool house after 19 days of traveling Namibia was like an oasis where we could relax with coffee and rusks. We were amazed to relive childhood memories with a telephone and gramophone and furniture. Thanks, it was superb

Very nice lodge and people. Good breakfast and dinner. Dinner was perfect and very nice food but so much. We could eat only 50%.
