We stayed at the Hotel Rössli for 4 days and it was simply wonderful. I don't know what to rate the most: the beautiful room, the truly exquisite food or the great staff, including the boss. We really felt at home straight away and enjoyed every day. We hiked to all the mountain lakes in the area and then looked forward to the evening meal. My wife had a vegetarian alternative every evening, which even I, as a meat lover, would have loved to eat. A sensationally relaxing stay!! Thanks to the whole team.

We only spent one night at this hotel. The rooms on our floor had just been renovated. It smelled like “fresh wood”. Very bright room, quality bedding. Pleasant bathroom with walk-in shower.
Breakfast with delicious regional products.
The welcome was very friendly. We would happily return.

I believe that this was the first hotel in Gstaad. It’s quaint and classic.

I have stayed at the Rössli, as well as quite a number of other hotels in Gstaad over the decades and I must say the Rössli is one of my very favorites. Their bedrooms and furnishings are really appealing - all warm wood, done in the traditional way, simple and beautiful. There is no clutter but only very comfortable, clean and warm. The Stube with local people is genuine which is rather hard to find these days. Well, now I have my own chalet so I do not stay in the Rössli any more - but receiving their email about their updates made me want to write about them! I am very happy to see from the pictures that the bedrooms maintain their warm ambiance!
