An old-fashioned hotel in the city center, very emotional. It is next to the Santa Maria Church, the oldest church in the city, and the steeple of the church can be seen from the balcony of the room. Excellent value for money. The service attitude is also very good. The only downside is that the facilities in the room are slightly backward, the drainage of the washbasin is not good, and the hot water regulation is not very smooth.

Hotel De Mendoza is well located if you want to explore the main part of the city. It is well kept and the staff are welcoming and accommodating to one's needs. It has a wonderfully view of the Centro and Catedral.

I have spent the last 30 years traveling and this was by far the worst hotel stay I have had ...
I had my confirmation number and my ******* receipt showing the I had pre-paid but they still insisted on charging me again for my two night stay. I contacted ******* and the following day they refunded me the second charge. Skip the hotel food ... There are much better options within a ten minute walk. When we checked out, the valet brought my rental car out and there was a large dent in it. It matched the concrete shelf on the support posts perfectly. The manager and the front desk clerk both agreed (I had pictures from the rental company with no dent). They took my information, I filled out paper work describing the damage, everyone took pictures, and was told I would receive information on the insurance in a day or two. Nothing came and I reached out via email and phone for the next week daily. No call back, no email back ... Just ridiculous behavior from business. Do yourself a favor and don't stay here. There is a Hilton by the church.

CHARMING COLONIAL HOTEL IN THE HEART OF THE HISTORIC ZONE OF GUADALAJARA. WEBSITE DID NOT DO IT JUSTICE. CLEAN BEAUTIFUL AND COMFORTABLE. GREAT BEDS. ROOMY JR. SUITE. COULD USE A COFFEE MACHINE AND A REFRIGERATOR. DEFINITELY WILL BE BACK.
