Hotels near Jugueti-Market, Guadalajara

First of all, I loved the location of this hotel. It's right in the historic center and you can walk to so many lovely buildings and museums, and everything you need is right there (shops, pharmacies, restaurants). Upon checking in as a Diamond Hilton member, I was happy to find out they had upgraded me to a room with a nice, spacious balcony with a spectacular view of Guadalajara Cathedral. (See photo) The top-floor restaurant has a similar view as well. The breakfast has a nice, tasty variety. I also enjoyed drinks with a friend at the restaurant on one of the nights. The staff are great and helpful too. Elizabeth really came through for me when I needed to extend my stay a couple nights. Another girl (Anayeri, I think) provided excellent service as well, helping me get my dry cleaning turned in, despite missing the 10am deadline. All in all, it was a lovely stay, and I look forward to staying at this hotel when I return in the future.

I have stayed here for a week at a time about every 8 weeks since the hotel opened. It took a while to get running smoothly but now is an excellent hotel. Service is very high overall. Food is excellent and overall healthier than the surrounding hotels. Close alternatives for food at the office building next door or some smaller cafes in neighborhood behind the hotel. The suites are live and a great bathroom. These are the only rooms that have a bathtub. The corner rooms are a bit smaller and I prefer a regular room instead of the upgrade to a corner room. One complaint is the air conditioning units can be a little loud so best to run them constantly for background noise. Pool is a bit odd as it does not have many lounge chairs if you want to just lounge and lay out in sun. Exec lounge has great service now with bartender always interested in making unique drinks.

Hi, 3 Things to improve: -Bigger bottles of water in the room or 2 more bottles. -Faster room service and Bar service. -Better lightning in pool area. Nice facilities an the staff is very kind. Thanks

Recently inaugurated this Terraza Restaurant is located on Pablo Neruda #2828, on floor 7 of the Hotel VoCo and a spectacular view, with public parking and all the comforts to go to breakfast, eating or dinner, celebrations or meeting with your friends. Dear Luna offers mexical cuisine, giving tribute to our Mexico through the merger of the best national ingredients with the aim of achieving the most exquisite tastes, we will also find drinks and cocktails, wines from Spain, Argentina and the United States, of course, of the Guadalupe Valley, which are my favorites. Music is pleasant, you can play while listening to a good selection of songs and the charming terrace, in the menu you can find from eggs, omelet, mugs, drown cake, papazules, tamal trilogie, Chilaquiles, nopal ashed, ashed panella, friggid, barbecue tacos, fruit, tees, my traditional mimosa that can not miss, sheep, French bread, hot cakes, waffles and cheese, to eat; cheese, tuna, aquachile, juice, salads, soups, tacos, ribs, chamorro, hamburger, meat cuts and day fishing prepared in various forms, including delicious options. Our 2nd time in the hotel in the past 2 yrs. This time we stayed for 1 night didn't sleep at all due to the street noise until 1 am. They gave us 4th floor where you could hear everything from the busy road. Last time we were in 23rd floor was great. The pillows this time was very small and uncomfortable too. I recommend asking customer which floor they prefer and informing about noise level. Maybe better and bigger pillows should be put in use.

Very comfortable bed, pillows could be better, not so fluffy anymore. Rooms with two beds have bathtubs and it was perfect to relax after being at the Expo. Super hot water. Very extensive breakfast. There is everything. I loved it.

The room is too small. This may be the characteristic of Ibis. The hotel has food and it is quite convenient. It is next to the main road around the city, and the transportation is convenient. The most important thing is that it is very close to the exhibition hall. We participated in the exhibition.

The hotel was new and modern. The rooftop garden was very nice. We could relax there and had a panoramic view of the city. Across the street and within walking distance we found a few restaurants. Breakfast was simple but okay: some sweet bread/pastry, eggs made to order, coffee/tea, juice was usually a fruit juice like orange, and a ”jugo verde” - basically a ”green juice” of vegetables and fruits. Also some cereals and yoghurts. The breakfast menu mentioned fresh fruits but on the first morning there wasn't any until we were just leaving. Nothing at all the second morning when we started breakfast later at 8am. The coffee on the second day was just warm so I had to ask for a new cup. Since we made the reservation through ***********, I had written a similar review at their website.

Stayed at hotel for the fourth time and we enjoyed our stay. My wife and I use it as a base to explore the archeological and tourist sites in Jalisco. Some of the staff remembered us especially Luita and Sphie from the breakfast buffet. We intend to return in September.

since the arrival you feel the kindness of the people who work there. Check-in/out was very fast, receptionists are very friendly and knowledgeable and willing to help. Rooms are very clean; you can leave all your personal belongings without being afraid of something me be missing or something. Breakfast is a buffet style, excellent food, a variety of food to select, natural juices are amazing. I truty recommends this hotel, is closed to the convention center, which is a big plus. Looking forward to send people and next time I go back to Guadalajara to stay there again.
