This hotel is an old house with a history of more than 100 years. It is located in the center of the town. The hotel is very beautiful. The hotel restaurant is always crowded with people and there are band performances.

We decided to start with drinks and have dinner to celebrate a wonderful 2 months in Mexico.. i got possibly the worst mijito ever.. it was so thick with sugar syrup and brown old mint. No freshness of lime and no alcohol....no soda.. nothing We spoke to 2 staff and asked them to try it as it was not drinkable and they said nothing.. they dont care.. we paid and left the drink onthe table.. Don't go here...as other reviews aren't great

I recommended to eat tamales and champurrado at night, is my favorite dinner in the city. The restaurant is the principal garden, Jardín de la Union, and the scene is so romantic.

Quaint space in an older building in an unbeatable location in the heart of Guanajuato’s historic center. Wonderful, helpful staff who were very patient with us gringos trying out our Spanish speaking and listening skills.

The hotel is centrally located and close to attractions and restaurants. It is an older hotel right across n the Jardín de Union. We asked for and got a quiet interior room. The beds were on the firm side. Room was clean but the bathroom is still n major need of a remodel. Staff was friendly and could speak English.

Staff is amazing! Rooms are spotless and a great central location to walk around the city. Food on site is amazing they offer discounts to its guest and a free drink at a local bar. If your checking out early make sure to inform staff so that your vehicle can be left at front of parking lot as the don’t have over night/early staff to move vehicles.
Overall great! I have stayed 3 times at said location and family/friends have loved it.

Everything was great, the only thing was the hotel's internet was a disaster; it kept cutting out and I couldn't contact my family every day.
