Guangzhou Desti Youth Hostel

This hostel completely changed my perception of what a hostel can be. The overall experience was much better than many standard budget hotels. It was incredibly clean, had a great social vibe, and fantastic common areas with workstations, a bar, and more.

This was my first time staying at Backpacker's 10, and I'd heard so much about it. Everyone *has* to stay here! I absolutely loved it 😭😭. The front desk staff were all super friendly, and I'd give the cleanliness 100 points! The showers are wet/dry separated and even have air conditioning. The soundproofing is also great; you can use the hairdryer no matter how late it is. The eight-person dorm room was also super spacious and even had key card locks. There were lots of friendly foreign guests, and everyone was really open to making new friends.

Came to Guangzhou for a backpacking trip! The environment here is great, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station, and Xihua Road is right next door, which is super convenient for finding food. And the guy [staff member] is really handsome, hahaha!

Traveling solo as a woman, I felt very safe here as you need a key card to enter and exit. The bathroom was spotless and well-equipped. Any issues I had were quickly addressed by the front desk. There were quite a few international guests too, which was nice! It's super close to the subway station, making it really convenient to get to places like Beijing Road and Shangxiajiu.

This hostel offers incredible value for money, easily beating out other accommodations in the same price range. The hardware facilities are complete and provide an excellent experience, which is a huge plus. Overall, it's a strong contender with a fantastic all-around experience. This is the first time I've stayed at a hostel that combines great service with comprehensive facilities. The service level is high, and the experience was top-notch.

Everything was great, I really liked this hostel. The bathrooms were clean too. The bar in the lobby was always packed with people chatting at night, and it's open 24/7, which I absolutely loved!
