Huge room with a soaking tub on the balcony, we requested room with partition between the bunk bed and king bed which worked great for our family. We had the breakfast and dinner buffet, plenty to eat and good value. The water park was good fun.

After much research, I decided to book a stay at the Guangzhou Forest Sea Hot Spring Hotel, and I can confidently say that it was the best decision I could have made. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, I was struck by the serene and tranquil atmosphere that enveloped the entire property. The lush, verdant surroundings and the soothing sounds of the nearby forest created an immediate sense of calm, which was exactly what I needed to unwind with my family. The hotel's accommodations were truly impressive. Our spacious room was impeccably clean and thoughtfully designed, with ample space for my children to play and explore. The breathtaking views of the forest and the hot spring from our private balcony were the icing on the cake, and my little ones were mesmerized by the natural beauty that surrounded us. One of the absolute highlights of our stay was the hotel's exceptional hot spring facilities. The moment we stepped into the warm, mineral-rich waters, all of our stresses and worries melted away. My children giggled with delight as they splashed and played, while my husband and I indulged in the restorative powers of the hot springs, emerging feeling refreshed and rejuvenated. The hotel's dining options were equally impressive, catering perfectly to the diverse tastes of our family. Very nice resort, especially if you travel during off peak season. The resort has its own lake and countless water activities, onsens, water sports etc etc, both indoor and outdoor. Most stuff are very friendly, special thanks to our butler Lisa, also restaurant manager Mr. Li. Both have been very helpful. We stayed in a tree house, the amenities are new, kids enjoy their stays there a lot. It comes with slide from 2nd floor down, also a climbing net in the house. We saw some bigger tree house with one even has a carousel… amazing. We tried a short helicopter trip too, with reasonable price. Quite fun. Some areas to improve, although they have villas and tree houses, the privacy isn’t quite there. You will still see and be seen by your neighbours for example when using private onsen. Not a big problem for us though. Overall very good experience, we plan to come back again. With so many activities, 2 nights are really too short. 3-5 nights you won't get bored here.

The main selling point of this hotel is its water park, yet more than half of it was out of service (that said it's because of winter but I went there in April, the weather is pretty warm already in Guangzhou). The place has so much potential, but it's letting customers down by not providing the promised service. Additionally, during the three days I spent there, the main swimming pool was also out of service, with no explanation given. The hotel's location is far from everything, so there aren't many restaurant options nearby. Guests have to rely on the two restaurants inside the hotel, one Chinese and one supposedly Western. However, the so-called Western restaurant is essentially an extension of the Chinese restaurant, offering only Chinese cuisine. They didn't even have basic Western items like sandwiches, pizza, or hamburgers. Furthermore, both restaurants closed at 9 pm, and there's no 24-hour room service available. If you didn't eat before 9 pm, you would have to wait until the next day or try the vending machine, which was also broken or out of service on my second day there. Overall, it was an expensive and disappointing experience. I probably won't be back.

There is a pool and a spa in the garden which is really nice. The interior of the room is slightly old but acceptable. The bathroom at the garden has no hot water which is a con. Moreover, there is a shuttle bus connecting you among the room , the hotel restaurant and the Wonderland as there are some distance between these 3 places.

Amazing resort , very nice rooms , breakfast has many variety, special , kids loves to stay. The hot spring open and many choices also the water park. Beucaee we came in winter time so the water land closed. But we enjoyed. No options for food with another restaurants (dinner or lunch) Chinese options only.

Overall is a gd experience, but is better avoid winter as their outdoor activities not open

It’s a wonderful experience for the kids. We booked the camper van room, and we realized it’s not suitable for our family and it’s too cold for us. Vivian, the caretaker was very nice and helped us to get it changed to another room in the main resort for the second night. Thank you for the kind gesture and we appreciate. Thank you!

My young kids enjoyed the resort including the wide variety of hot spring and indoor pool.
