First of all, let me declare that I am not asking for help and I don’t know the boss. I am just seeking truth from facts. Before departure, I did a lot of research and compared many hotels and apartments. Perhaps it was fate that I had difficulty choosing, so I finally settled on this apartment. When I arrived, there was a lady from Guangxi at the front desk who was very warm, considerate, and responsible. , checked us in and took us to the room. I was really surprised the moment I stepped in the door. The room was spacious and bright, clean and sanitary. It felt like home, with snow-white sheets and quilts, a large sofa and a refrigerator. Everything, very warm. At this price, no matter in terms of Internet speed, facilities, services, meals, or transportation convenience, it is inferior to other so-called chain hotels of the same type. The next day, a tall beauty was also very warm and thoughtful, which was really touching. I will definitely stay in this apartment when I go to Guangzhou in the future. I highly recommend this hotel-style apartment and give it a five-point rating!

The transportation is very convenient. It is only 500 meters away from Jiangnanxi and Changgang subway stations. Metro Line 2, Line 6, and Line 8 are directly accessible. It is an old hotel with small rooms and not very new facilities, but it is clean and tidy. The service is very formal. The service attitude of the front desk lady and the cleaning lady is very good. It is very convenient to wash clothes in the hotel. The cleaning lady also took the basin and clothes drying rack for you. The uncle at the convenience corner downstairs is also very enthusiastic. At night, no one lets customers go in and take what they need by themselves and scan the code by themselves. I have lived here for nearly ten days and it feels like home and warm. The location is so convenient as it's close to the metro and eateries area around the hotel. In addition, the hotel serves a few amenities such as a swimming pool, a in-house restaurant and a convenient store just beside the hotel. Walking out of the hotel, directly is just a few steps away from a shopping mall.
They even help me arrange my cruise booking with their company cruise despite having no mainland number. Thanks!

Hotel was clean and relatively conveniently located. You can use the underground mall to access it via the lift. Unfortunately, the underground mall closes at 10 pm. There was no shortage of food options with lots of restaurants open till late, and there is a GrandBuy supermarket nearby too (广百). It was about an 8-10 minute walk to the nearest metro station (江南西地铁站). The room looked slightly more dated than I expected, but it was acceptable.

I also accidentally saw it on Dianping.com and decided to stay here. The front desk lady, A Di, is also very nice. Seeing that I brought my children, she took the initiative to help me carry the luggage to the room. She was very considerate and patient in chatting. The transportation is also very convenient. There are also food nearby. The environment is also very good and quiet. The facilities in the room are very satisfying to me. They are clean and tidy. The children are also very happy living here. The location is excellent. Right at the centre of the main street. The hotel is pretty newly furnished with great check in facilities. They even offer free laundry services. The cars have to park on the side of the road. Can't be dropped off right in front. The rooms are a bit small but the benefit of the location outweights that.

Upon booking, I contacted the hotel receptionist who promptly arranged a driver to pick me up from the airport. The transfer service was seamless, and I was pleasantly surprised when I was given a complimentary upgrade upon arrival. The hotel's lobby was immaculate, and the staff courteously showed me to my room, providing a thorough introduction to the hotel's facilities.

The room itself surpassed my expectations. The cleanliness, modern decor, and attention to detail were truly impressive. I recently stayed at the Kyriad Marvelous Hotel (Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport) for two nights. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of the positive reviews I read online, which makes me question their authenticity.
**From the very beginning, the check-in process was unpleasant.** The staff displayed a rude and unwelcoming demeanor. When they provided the initial Wi-Fi username and password, it turned out to be incorrect.
**We returned to the lobby to address the Wi-Fi issue.** Instead of simply providing the correct credentials, the staff member became impatient and took our phone to set up the connection themselves. When we politely requested the username and password for our computer, they responded with a dismissive attitude, stating they ”already set it up” and questioned why we needed the information. We explained the initial credentials were wrong, and they finally provided the correct username and password written on a piece of paper, further demonstrating their lack of courtesy.
**Housekeeping was another area of disappointment.** After our first night, we requested room service. Despite confirming our room number and promising to clean the room later, housekeeping never arrived. Returning to the hotel in the evening, we found our room untouched. We ended up having to replenish our own water bottles and toilet paper.
**The airport fetching service we booked was another source of frustration.** We arrived in the lobby early for the arranged pick-up time. However, when the pick-up time approached, we were informed that the car had already left for the airport without us!** There was no apology or explanation for this missed pick-up. Thankfully, another driver was present in the lobby and was able to arrange alternative transportation to ensure we reached the airport on time. This incident was a stressful and concerning experience.
Overall, my stay at the Kyriad Marvelous Hotel was a frustrating one. The staff's unprofessionalism, the lack of housekeeping service, the missed airport pick-up, and the initial Wi-Fi problems significantly detracted from the experience.
**In light of this experience, I would strongly advise potential guests to manage their expectations and consider alternative hotels near the airport that offer reliable airport fetching services and provide a more welcoming atmosphere.**

GGuest UserLocation is very convenient. Walkable distance to the river and some parks. There are plenty of places to eat at the hotel or inside the building(k11). The room was nice, better than the hotel photos. On a cloudy day you may feel yourself inside a cloud. The lights of city in the evening are especially good looking from the this hotel. I like the ambiance of this hotel. The vibe is a relaxed sophistication. The artwork in the hallways, elevators and public spaces is very nice. Sometimes, i find the public spaces and hallways of this hotel to be more beautiful than the room, haha. The room is well reserved and relaxing , whereas public spaces are more energetic. Probably, how it should be. The great asset of this hotel is all the staff. And that would be the first reason i will be back to this place. The customer service when checking in was extremely lacking. The guy at the counter was not friendly or helpful.

GGuest UserCleanliness was fine but not spectacular. WiFi could only be accessed with a Chinese phone number, which I didn't have. Thankfully the receptionist helped me connect once (but you need the number every time you connect...).
My room was absolutely tiny with no window to the outside and no natural light. Consequently the.little bathroom area was very damp and rapidly smelly. According to the plan, about half the rooms don't have real windows. Those that do are tinted heavily.
Fine for a one night stay but not for longer.

GGuest UserThis is the second time I have visited this Hotel.As always the facilities are excellent,especially the Gym,Jacuzzi,Sauna and indoor hot pool available for both genders.The personell are very hospitable.If I may give some constructive criticism, the lunch self help at the California Restaurant was a bit dissapointing.They should have more variety of meat,and fish.Last time there was Sushi available for dinner, however this time for lunch no Sushi.And lamb or pork or mutton as an extra meat dish.They should also have a dry white wine on the Wine List at a reasonable price.They can contact Me at ************************************* , and I will supply.

CChengxiqu88clean and nice remodeling. But this is not a 5 star, rather 3 to 4 star. Actually it’s a weird hotel. They completely lack the windows. The hallways are zigzagging and has a huge risk if fire breaks. I don’t know how the city government allows this kind of hotel. They turned off the heater and keep saying they turned it on. Latter they provided a space heater. I would not recommend this hotel.

SSeh KiatVery good location next to the Beijing Lu Pedestrian Walk. In the older part of the city. The surrounding is very nostalgic yet very well kept by the city.
My room is a river view high floor and it was exactly what I got. Full height window and a Tatami bed. It also came with a washer and a separate dryer. Unfortunately the dryer had to be placed in the bathroom which made it a bit cramp.
The room itself is well maintained and what I suspect to be toiletries left behind by previous occupants are displayed for subsequent travellers.
I had great sleep, unfortunately I could not enjoy the great view because it was fogged out during my stay..
Overall, think Airbnb apartment.
The building is quite aged, so the lifts are a bit slow in coming. Add to that, the entire building seems to be occupied by numerous similar operators.
BTW Check In and service desk is in apartment 1813, at least for now.
