The room was very spacious, perfect for staying with kids. There was plenty of room for the little ones to play and run around. The hotel environment was also fantastic, every photo turned out great, and they even had a children's play area, which was a thoughtful touch. I'd likely choose this hotel again for our next trip. The only downside was that we stayed on a Saturday, so the price was a bit higher compared to other hotels, but it's a good choice if you're looking for better quality. The only minor inconvenience was that the hotel didn't have its own parking, so it wasn't as convenient as it could have been.

Getting to Shamian Island, Shangxiajiu, and Yongqingfang is also very easy. The restaurant on the fourth floor, accessible by elevator next door, is excellent too; I went there for dim sum every day.

The room facilities were good, but the room wasn't cleaned properly, and there was no hot water for showering. What was most infuriating was the low quality of the staff; their attitude towards guests was downright discriminatory and inexplicable. Ctrip's mediation finally resulted in an apology. The hygiene was good. Being in a shophouse building, you can't expect too much; the hallways are quite narrow, and there's only one small elevator that requires a key card. The room's power is activated by a key card, the TV is a Xiaomi, and the set-top box also works. The internet speed seems to be up to 300Mbps, but it uses a CAPTCHA-verified optical modem for Wi-Fi. Although it claims to have Wi-Fi 6, it's a bit troublesome if you have to remove the card, power cycle, and restart it. The soundproofing isn't great, but luckily, it's pretty quiet at night. I slept until noon and only heard a bit of housekeeping noise, which didn't disturb my sleep. Speaking of which, I suggest they provide 'Please make up room' and 'Do not disturb' signs. Even if I'm out, sometimes I don't want housekeeping to enter the room. The location is very close to Beijing Road, right at the entrance of the 13 Hong area, with a subway station nearby. The window switch is a bit stiff, but there's a screen. The air conditioning works, but one of its flaps isn't properly installed. It doesn't affect its use, but it makes noise when turned on. The bathroom slippers are of poor quality and only come in one size, which didn't fit. Disposable slippers are only provided upon request; they're not in the room by default. The bathroom is quite small; I wondered why there were no bathroom pictures in the room description. Also, the shower gel and shampoo dispensers only dispense a tiny amount per pump, and the shower spray wets the toilet paper. The door design is quite peculiar; after showering, the bathroom door gets very wet, and it's not sealed, so when you open it, water gets all over the wooden floor. While the door can be pushed or pulled, the handle obstructs it. The water cups and toothbrushes not being placed on the sink is also due to space constraints. The front desk service was good, but there's no phone in the room to call the front desk. You can go up to the 7th floor where the front desk is without a card, and food delivery can also reach your room door. However, after 10 PM, most delivery restaurants are quite far. They also upgraded my room for free, which was nice. The 'viewing platform' on the 7th floor is barely better than nothing. The hotel has its pros and cons, but the price for this location is very cheap.
