This W Hotel really did not live up to its name. We were given a room, so-called an upgraded room (jewel), darkened by low lighting and decor, with seemingly wet looking patch on the floor. The lights were not set properly. The view was bad. We complained and were given a better room (standard room actually) on a higher floor with better view and cleaner carpet. The breakfast did not match W name. The dim sum were not up to Guangzhou standard. The wonton was below average and the porridge was bland. We complained and the food improved the next day. On the last day of our stay, my husband was refused entry to bf. It was because of computer system problem and it was embarrassing for him. Should I be asked whether we would return for another stay, we will not.

The location is very convenient, very stylish, the room is very practical, the service is very friendly, and I was very happy to stay here during the National Day. If my friends come to Guangzhou next time, I will choose here again. I am very satisfied!
