The room is very spacious, the front desk service is great 👍🏻 they sent us things several times. We were playing in Wanda at night, it was only a 5-minute walk away, and we could park for free. The door lock is a cardless code scan, the mobile phone signal is not very good, and it is not easy to scan 😂 The environment is also very good, there is no main light design in the room, the a**osphere is there, but it is not that bright.

Not bad for the price. Some of the details noticed where that the bed looked unfinished when first entered the room and water on the shower stays in the floor around the toilet which makes it very inconvenient. The alley outside the hotel looks a little sketchy but besides that the location is ok, near canton tower and accesible. Receptionist was kind and could speak english which made it easier.

Upon booking, I contacted the hotel receptionist who promptly arranged a driver to pick me up from the airport. The transfer service was seamless, and I was pleasantly surprised when I was given a complimentary upgrade upon arrival. The hotel's lobby was immaculate, and the staff courteously showed me to my room, providing a thorough introduction to the hotel's facilities.

I recently stayed at the Kyriad Marvelous Hotel (Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport) for two nights. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of the positive reviews I read online, which makes me question their authenticity.
**From the very beginning, the check-in process was unpleasant.** The staff displayed a rude and unwelcoming demeanor. When they provided the initial Wi-Fi username and password, it turned out to be incorrect.
**We returned to the lobby to address the Wi-Fi issue.** Instead of simply providing the correct credentials, the staff member became impatient and took our phone to set up the connection themselves. When we politely requested the username and password for our computer, they responded with a dismissive attitude, stating they ”already set it up” and questioned why we needed the information. We explained the initial credentials were wrong, and they finally provided the correct username and password written on a piece of paper, further demonstrating their lack of courtesy.
**Housekeeping was another area of disappointment.** After our first night, we requested room service. Despite confirming our room number and promising to clean the room later, housekeeping never arrived. Returning to the hotel in the evening, we found our room untouched. We ended up having to replenish our own water bottles and toilet paper.
**The airport fetching service we booked was another source of frustration.** We arrived in the lobby early for the arranged pick-up time. However, when the pick-up time approached, we were informed that the car had already left for the airport without us!** There was no apology or explanation for this missed pick-up. Thankfully, another driver was present in the lobby and was able to arrange alternative transportation to ensure we reached the airport on time. This incident was a stressful and concerning experience.
Overall, my stay at the Kyriad Marvelous Hotel was a frustrating one. The staff's unprofessionalism, the lack of housekeeping service, the missed airport pick-up, and the initial Wi-Fi problems significantly detracted from the experience.

GGuest UserLocation is very convenient. Walkable distance to the river and some parks. There are plenty of places to eat at the hotel or inside the building(k11). The room was nice, better than the hotel photos. On a cloudy day you may feel yourself inside a cloud. The lights of city in the evening are especially good looking from the this hotel. I like the ambiance of this hotel. The vibe is a relaxed sophistication. The artwork in the hallways, elevators and public spaces is very nice. Sometimes, i find the public spaces and hallways of this hotel to be more beautiful than the room, haha. The room is well reserved and relaxing , whereas public spaces are more energetic. Probably, how it should be. The great asset of this hotel is all the staff. And that would be the first reason i will be back to this place. GGuest UserCleanliness was fine but not spectacular. WiFi could only be accessed with a Chinese phone number, which I didn't have. Thankfully the receptionist helped me connect once (but you need the number every time you connect...).
My room was absolutely tiny with no window to the outside and no natural light. Consequently the.little bathroom area was very damp and rapidly smelly. According to the plan, about half the rooms don't have real windows. Those that do are tinted heavily.
Fine for a one night stay but not for longer.

SSeh KiatVery good location next to the Beijing Lu Pedestrian Walk. In the older part of the city. The surrounding is very nostalgic yet very well kept by the city.
My room is a river view high floor and it was exactly what I got. Full height window and a Tatami bed. It also came with a washer and a separate dryer. Unfortunately the dryer had to be placed in the bathroom which made it a bit cramp.
The room itself is well maintained and what I suspect to be toiletries left behind by previous occupants are displayed for subsequent travellers.
I had great sleep, unfortunately I could not enjoy the great view because it was fogged out during my stay..
Overall, think Airbnb apartment.
The building is quite aged, so the lifts are a bit slow in coming. Add to that, the entire building seems to be occupied by numerous similar operators.
BTW Check In and service desk is in apartment 1813, at least for now.

GGuest UserThis is the second time I have visited this Hotel.As always the facilities are excellent,especially the Gym,Jacuzzi,Sauna and indoor hot pool available for both genders.The personell are very hospitable.If I may give some constructive criticism, the lunch self help at the California Restaurant was a bit dissapointing.They should have more variety of meat,and fish.Last time there was Sushi available for dinner, however this time for lunch no Sushi.And lamb or pork or mutton as an extra meat dish.They should also have a dry white wine on the Wine List at a reasonable price.They can contact Me at ************************************* , and I will supply.
