The owner was responsive to my concerns. The desk is staffed 24/7, unlike some other properties. The shoreline diner is across the street for breakfast and dinner. I would stay there again, when I visit Guilford.

We went on a girls trip for a night and had a great experience. It wasn’t a luxurious place but it was cozy, clean, affordable, and close to everything. We would stay there again and the owners were very friendly!

This place is good value for the money. Excellent diner across the street, and located right on Route 1 (Boston Post Road in that area). Sometimes difficult to contact the staff as they manage two adjacent properties, but overall a nice inexpensive place to stay in the Guilford/Madison area

We arrived around 9 pm after a much longer drive than expected due to traffic in a cold rainy winter night. Looking forward to a comfortable room. The heat in the room was turned OFF and this was winter. The heater in the room was really noisy and we had to keep our coats and shoes on to stay warm. There is no carpet in the floor which was freezing.
On the positive side, there was plenty of hot water, the bed was comfortable, and the WiFi was fine. We will not take a chance on staying here ever again.

Couch was gross - stained. Toilet was actually on a slant. Bedding was very old. Pillows were terrible.

The room has a bad smell. It is not clean. The internet is basically not working. I will not recommend this place.
