Great experience in Guilin. Rooms are incredible for us. Nice breakfast. Also, the bar has good cocktail with good view. Strongly suggest to have a try. Room service was very warm hearted. Hope they would have more efficient hair-drier.

We had a decent stay in the family room of this hotel. It was located close to the busy part of the city center and right next to the park with the pagoda. We had bunkbeds for the kids in a separate part of the room. The bunkbeds were super firm and uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet was small and limited in choice. However, the room was clean and the hotel staff were nice. Since we only stayed one night, the negatives were not a big deal. 

Travelled from Hong Kong with my family through the 3-hour HSR ride to Guilin. This hotel pleasantly surprised me by its breakfast buffet first of all! 😋😋 Stir fried tender green pepper with pork was my favorite, followed by the freshly made, authentic Guilin rice noodles, which I had three bowls of! The location is unmatched inside the quiet walking area directly facing the Sun Moon towers and close to all major scenic sights. 🐘🌄🏞️ Great for a morning jog along the two river four lakes area ( I followed a route recommended on Strava ) in the midst of the city’s unique ubiquitous osmanthus flower fragrance ( “Gui Hua”). 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️ Can talk to hotel concierge via WeChat and most times the cute Hotel robot will deliver stuff to us to help out quickly. Such a beautiful weekend I spent here and think I’ll come here again ~~

Beyond my expectation. Service is at tip top. Walkable to many places of interest within 400m. The receptionists were so helpful giving directions as where to go and assist to call for cab anytime i needed the service. Remarkable housekeeper aunty, asking me need not wait for my laundry as she will make sure it is all done and will deliver to my room, she even drop me a note after sending the laundry on my bed. Got a upgraded family room which was spacious and on the high floor. The hotel 7th floor has a small pool and nice view of the Jingjang Wangfu background and the ancient city. They do served tea at 3pm with some nice cookies and desserts, breakfast was awesome with order to make famous Guilin Noodle soup. Highly recommend this hotel for personalize service and a comfort room. Would rate it 5/5. 酒店位置很好，房间卫生很干净，设施设备很齐全，有洗衣房健身房提供，一楼大堂还有免费咖啡提供，大堂环境也很好，宽敞明亮，前台服务员水琳服务很好.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐The rooftop view of Guilin Port House is amazing! The 9th floor is under renovation, I thought I would miss the beautiful view. Fortunately, Miss YanHong took us up to see the view enthusiastically. When you step into the 9th floor, you will see the construction site. When you walk to the balcony, you will feel like you are in a dreamland above the city. The view upstairs is very wide. The landscape painting of Guilin unfolds slowly in front of you. The mountains in the distance are like dark blue, and the city streets nearby is amazing. The layout of the building is exquisite, adding a bit of vitality and comfort. Miss YanHong took us to see the night view at 8:30. The lights were on, shining like stars, this is a great place to relax, whether it is a couple hugging to watch the sunset, or chatting with friends to enjoy the night view (I chatted with YanHong, who I just met, for 2 hours upstairs). Really enjoyed my stay !

The location was excellent. A lot of the tourist attractions were within walking distance (under 40 minutes). It's located next to a park, which if you like going on walks, it's great to have; you can also experience some of the local life at night. One of the main things we watched out for when picking a place was noise level, particularly if you could hear people in the hallways or in nearby rooms in the evenings. We had no issues. It was our first time having to navigate in China (e.g., using the car transport service) and the employees at the reception were always willing to help. They also provided great restaurant recommendations and provided insight on which attractions to check out or not at the time of visit. Breakfast was also fairly good. A general note for the room itself, if you don't mind a simple layout with all the necessities, I recommend this place.

The room was upgraded to a twin room, the breakfast was rich, and there was a group purchase for dinner. There was no sea bass to buy specifically for the children. I was very happy. Although it took a little time, I still like it. I left the stuff at the hotel and delivered it to me for free. I appreciate the hospitality of Guilin Lijiang Holiday Hotel. I have heard of this B&B for a long time, and I drove from Guilin to stay there. I was supposed to stay for two nights, but because of the change in the itinerary, I changed it to one night. It happened that the room was not full that day, and the enthusiastic housekeeper helped to upgrade the room type. The B&B is very large, with a variety of room types, and it has the characteristics of local ancient dwellings. Basically, they are all logs with a faint wood fragrance. The housekeeper and waiter are very enthusiastic, including picking up and dropping off luggage. B&B guests can participate in many intangible cultural heritage and other DIY experience activities in the ancient village for free. Of course, there are many other activities in the ancient village that can be participated in, and the fees vary. It is a pity that the rainy season was very long this time, causing the river water to be turbulent and turbid, and it was impossible to play in the water on the water platform. However, the scenery in other parts of the ancient village is still very beautiful. The exquisite design restores the original appearance of the ancient village. There are many green plants and they are reasonably designed and planted. I will stay in this B&B for a few days next time!
