Holiday Inn Guin

I don't normally write reviews on anything, but in this case it is deserving. I must brag on the breakfast staff, namely Gene and Jeannie. They were so kind, so bright with smiles and so attentive. I have experienced hotel breakfasts in the past where the attendant made it well know she didn't want to be there, but this was certainly not the case with Gene and Jeannie. Well done to both of you! Thank you for your kindness and smiles.

Amy at the desk goes over and above with her hospitality! Fresh coffee, clean restroom and a fast charge even though I was not a hotel guest. Tesla and CCS (non-Tesla) fast charging available. Full disclosure - I am an IHG Rewards member. I will stay here if the opportunity arises to do so in the future!

Connor was Amazing. He is an exceptional worker with a great work ethic. He’s a keeper! Connor made sure our entire table was well taken care of! Best hotel visit we’ve had in a long time. The staff at this hotel were very nice and helpful! I will definitely go back.

This hotel was very very clean and the staff was amazing. They go above and beyond for their customers. Check in was super smooth and Amy does a great job making you feel welcomed. Housekeeping staff always makes sure your room is is stocked with anything you could need and the restaurant food is delicious

The following is a review that was written on month ago, and today after speaking to Lindsey and getting superior customer service and of course all the help we needed to book again, I had to call her back and cancel for now due to a Tropical Disturbance that was going to make traveling dangerous. However, it's the amazing caring and helpfulness that Lindsey always shares that makes it so special to stay here. SO, HUGE THANK YOU LINDSEY, and we will be calling back to reschedule our stay. It's amazing we feel like we're coming to visit family when we stay here. We want to share an extraordinary Holiday Inn experience, and tell about the most loving and compassionate staff that we've ever found at any hotel that we've ever stayed at. First off I want to thank a church called The RAMP, and our realtor Sherry Howell, for recommending this phenomenal hotel. (Y'all were right it's the best) For the last 11 years my husband and I have traveled throughout the USA staying in hotels, and some stays were 3 months long, all due to a lengthy medical history. We can honestly say, that 100% of the staff, at Holiday Inn Guin, treated us with a genuine compassion that you just don't see much of today. It seems that the world we live in is just so busy, and at times cold and detached when it comes to people. NOT HERE. We were welcomed by Lindsey at the front desk, and this precious lady just couldn't do enough for us. Her kind and caring heart is so beautiful, and our long and taxing drive into town, along with anxiety about finding a place to live was just overwhelming, and she knew that! What we're sharing holds true for every one of the beautiful young ladies that we met from the early morning breakfast to the dinner hour. Their kindness, smiles, and compassionate hearts made us feel so welcomed. Our room was immaculate, and everything was perfect. The food was plentiful, so much to pick from and cooked to perfection...I love that they have real scrambled eggs! Unfortunately, my husband wasn't feeling well upon checking out, so when we left the hotel, we accidentally forgot some clothing items in the closet. We didn't even realize it, and while we were en-route home, we received a text message sharing this information. I called and spoke to Lindsey and she gave us the protocol to follow, so all is well, and it's the genuine caring that makes all the difference. A huge thank you to the ENTIRE STAFF, and prayers for God's blessings to all these beautiful ladies in fathomless measure of good health, safety, and joy over flowing. We love Alabama!!! We'll see you soon.

Such a wonderful stay. It is really not close to anything. Staff was so welcoming and acknowledged my husband's IHG status. Beautiful lobby. Outdoor pool and on site restaurant. Room was spacious and the AC was perfect. The room has a mini fridge and a Keurig. The restaurant was very good. Fully stocked bar. An excellent hotel

Good and friendly service from the staff. Check-in is quick and efficient. The rooms are clean, dark, and quiet. The restaurant is pretty good with a super friendly staff taking care of you. Finding a full service hotel in a somewhat isolated area is a deal to me and is why I will continue to stay.

This is Guin, AL.. expectations low. This hotel is OK for its location, but nothing more and that's why it gets a 4-star. Adding positively to this rating is the price which is on the lower end of the scale, making it a decent value. The rooms are nice and clean although loud with banging doors and loud TVs a plenty. The grounds are not pretty with dog litter everywhere. The restaurant is average at best. If you need a relatively decent hotel in the middle of nowhere at a decent price, this place is ok.

The ladies at the Grille were warm and friendly- we very much appreciate Destiny, Miss Lisa and Denise(?dark hair,) The food was fresh and hot, the bacon was delicious! The front desk check out reminded us about points added, the bed was cozy and the room dark and quiet- we had an excellent stay
