The hotel itself is nice with well-kept grounds, simple, clean rooms with a balcony or terrace, friendly staff, good breakfast, and even a swimming pool. I also noticed the width of the bed in the single room positively, probably 1.20 meters compared to the usual 1.00 meters. So far all good! But my rating is so low for the following reasons: 1) I slept very badly because I didn't lie very well on the mattress, which is certainly more a reflection of individual feelings. However, the large, thick pillow made it even more difficult to lie down. A second, smaller and softer pillow could easily help in my opinion. 2) Even if the statutory provisions on the Corona rules have largely fallen away, I would have liked to see more precautionary measures here: there is a dispenser with disinfectant in the entrance area and a large Plexiglas pane at the reception, both of which are completely fine with me. However, I didn't like the processes in the breakfast room at all: I think it's reasonable that the breakfast buffet is either protected by plexiglass walls (open at the bottom like at the reception) or the guests wear masks when they go to the buffet. But especially I think I can reasonably be expected that the employees in the breakfast room should continue to wear FFP2 masks and thus contribute to protection against infection! There are still people who are at increased risk due to their age and/or previous illnesses. It is important that these people are also in a Hotel felt safe and secure Without these two points of criticism, which I believe can be remedied with little effort and at low cost, it would have easily been four stars.

Very satisfied, the hotel is very clean, the environment is very good, there is a hiking park nearby, there is a delicious Italian restaurant, I like it very much, I will come to live next time.

We arrived on Friday for a family celebration. Our first dinner was excellent. Served hot, the meat was cooked to perfection and everything was super tasty and the service was top notch! The room was very nice and modern and very clean. The family celebration on Saturday was perfectly organized by the hotel. The hall was very nice and prepared with love, the service was fantastic and the buffet left absolutely nothing to be desired. There was something for every taste, served hot and always replenished in abundance. The breakfast was also simply great. The hotel staff have a lot of fun at work, that was obvious. From the outside, it seems that there is a very harmonious and great team spirit within the team. Thank you very much for this very nice stay in your hotel. We would love to come back if we find ourselves in your area again!

Hotel has everything you need. Very basic rooms, definatly time for some updating and got some free pretzels that the previous guest left for us on the floor. Breakfast and diner very basic but fine. But I would recommend if you have some drinks / food. CHECK your bills or ask for a duplicate . Because we thought ow nice we can just put in on the room and pay it all in the end. When we checked out we got giving a price. and with some quick math in my head. Thought it was ok. And after we paid we then got the final bill. but on the drive home we looked over the final bill and it was more then expected. And then it tooks weeks of emailing to get the money back. Mostly because they didn't reply and i had to email again and still it's unclear how we got charged €75 too much on the €200 food and drinks bill.

Um uns ein paar Tage Ende April mit Freunden aus Bayern treffen zu können, haben wir Anfang Februar 2024 beschlossen, im ”Hanse-Hotel” in Attendorn Ende April 2024 ein Arrangement mit HP zu buchen, da das Hotel direkt gegenüber - fußläufig- der ”Atta-Höhle” liegt. Bereits während des 1. Telefonates/ Buchung mit Herrn Georgios Stagkopoulos waren wir mehr als angenehm überrascht, wie freundlich und serviceorientiert der Mitarbeiter war. Einer Änderung wenige Tage später mit einer Verkürzung des Aufenthaltes wurde ohne Beanstandung extrem freundlich entsprochen. Es wurde auch nur um eine kleine Anzahlung für das nicht stornierbare Arrangement gebeten. Aufgrund eines Unfalles mit gebrochenem Ellenbogens etc. exakt am Nachmittag vor der geplanten Anreise, mussten wir noch aus dem Krankenhaus heraus das Hotel kontaktieren. An der Rezeption erreichten wir die freundliche Vorgesetzte (Name?) von Herrn Stagkopoulos. Welch' eine weitere nette Erfahrung: uns wurde kulanterweise angeboten, zu einem späteren Termin - am 23. Juli 2024 anzureisen. Sprachlos, gerührt und dankbar waren wir, als wir am 20. Juli 2024 aufgrund einer weiteren ernsthaften Erkrankung erneut das Hotel kontaktieren mussten, um abzusagen: Herr Stagkopoulos bot uns an, mit der Vorgesetzten zu sprechen, ob wir in diesem Fall ausnahmsweise noch einmal verschieben könnten. Was für ein unglaublicher Service! Nochmals ganz lieben Dank das äußerst serviceorientierte Team an der Rezeption: und ganz besonders an Herrn Stagkopoulos👍. Leider haben wir während unseres Aufenthaltes Herrn Stagkopoulos nicht persönlich kennen lernen dürfen. Dafür eine sehr freundliche und (erfahrende) Auszubildende des Hotels und ihre ebenso nette Vorgesetzte. Bei unserer Ankunft am Hotel wussten wir sofort - trotz des weniger schönen Wetters für ein paar Stunden- dass wir eine sehr gute Wahl mit dem ”Hanse-Hotel” getroffen hatten. Das architektonisch schön durchdachte Hotel, gebaut in 2013 aber relativ frisch renoviert, verfügt über kostenlose Parkplätze vor und hinter dem Hotel, die teilweise überdacht sind. Ein Stell-Platz in der kleinen Tiefgarage kann für Euro 8,--? angemietet werden. Da wir einen der überdachten, kostenlosen Parkplätze auf dem Hotelgelände nutzen konnten, haben wir darauf verzichtet, dafür aber unsere E-Bikes in der Tiefgarage (kostenfrei) unterbringen können. Allerdings gibt es ganz wenige Möglichkeiten -aussen- vor der im Untergeschoß gelegenen Bowling-Bahn- die Räder anzuschließen. Aus der Tiefgarage fährt man bequem mit dem Fahrstuhl in die gewünschten Etagen. In der oberen Etage befindet sich eine wunderschöne Dachterrasse mit Bar, Tischen, Stühlen und sogar schönen Liegen - Blick auch auf die ”Attahöhle”, ein relativ neues, auch architektonisch anders als üblich schönes Kino sowie ein Supermarkt einer bekannten Kette. Das hübsche Städtchen Attendorn ist fussläufig erreichbar, mit dem Fahrrad keine 3 Minuten! Der schöne Biggesee ist mit dem Fahrrad gemütlich vom Hotel a

Very clean new and modern. The hotel was very quiet which was nice. Unfortunately they could not offer food in the evening and had to rely on take away food. Thankfully the hotel staff were helpful in advising where to order food from. Also very helpful on my check out day as i couldnt work at the office I was given late check out which was great.
