The room has an old Javanese feel, the bed and furniture are ok but the sink is clogged, the cleanliness of the towels is also ok. There were so many large lizards in the room that at several points there were lizard droppings on the table. Overall the atmosphere of the resort is good because it is spacious and beautiful. But I'm not a fan of the room design. Maybe the bathroom and rooms could be renovated so that they are more sustainable and not costly for maintenance, etc.

Book Aruss Hotel just for 1 night, only for transit so my hubby can rest and have a shorter drive back home (to Jakarta). Surprisingly, we really love our stay, the staffs are amazingly nice & helpful. The check in process was fast & smooth, they offered us welcome drinks on the rooftop on 11th floor, it was really nice. For 4 star hotel the room is nice and clean, have nothing to complain about. They also offered large varieties of breakfast, includes with the kids corner area which serves kids friendly meals. Really enjoy our stay in Aruss Hotel & will definitely come back again.

I've stayed for 2 nights on my staycation in Semarang. Room is clean, tidy and comfy, but there are some spots on the towel. Also the spray jet valve were leaks, so I got to turn it on/off during using it. I like the breakfast menu, quite variative choice and tastes goods. The sky pool was fresh in the morning, but don't forget to applied sun block on your skin. Overall is good for an affordable price.

The standard room is very small, barely place to walk to the other side of the bed. But we keep coming bed because we feel comfortable every time we stay here with reasonable price. They also have 24 hours gym, and have billiard table, free tea and coffee at the lobby, located in DP Mall, so its very easy to buy things or grab a food. Use mobile apps to unlock the door to the room, so it's easier, no need to find access card whenever want to go to the room

Situated in residential area, northern part of Semarang. Cheap hotel rate. Room is small but clean and comfy. Everything is working fine, aircond is cold, hotwater on bathroom works. The only downside is lack of amenities in rooms. Overall, it is still worth it.

This Amanda Hills is not on the side of the highway, but in the alley, and it's quite far and it's quite high, which makes it a good sight of whether the car's getting strong, unfortunately it's quiet, so it's not stuck in the middle of the road. Because the date was high season, we had to move to another room type for the second night. The first night we stayed at Casablanca bungalow no. 311. It was a 2 units that can be connected (with connecting doors), but we only rented 1 unit. Each unit is a 2 room, 1 family room with TV, sofa and table, back terrace, and 1 bathroom. The furniture also looks like it needs to be rejuvenated. Some doors of the cabinet can't close properly. It's a bit difficult to charge the phone here, because the power plug is located quite high, so it's hard to put the phone when charging. Forced to put the phone in the top cabinet when charged, or on the floor, near the TV in the family room. He said because the hotel is fully booked, so the battery-powered phone system is disturbed. But we can still contact the front office with WA, and they respond quickly (even when booking they respond to the WA quickly). The hotel provides free wifi, but the connection is not stable, and the signal is large/small, depending on the location of the bungalow/room from the wifi spot. The rooms are a bit narrow. One room with double bed and the other room with twin beds. The bed is also less comfortable. The furniture is old, even the sheets we were torn apart in 2 places. The room window is a nano window, so we were a bit worried when we slept there will be insects coming in. But fortunately it didn't happen. The room lights are set from the buttons located on the bottom, not on the wall, we were confused at first, modern bathroom, shower type, with a large sink and a sitting closet. Towels are provided for 4 people, soap/shampoo in the dispenser and toothbrush + toothpaste. Towels are provided in the bungalow. It's hard to turn on hot water. But the technician responded quickly when called, so the problem was solved. The back patio leads to the mountain view and the shade of shade. In the morning, don't miss seeing the sunrise from this back terrace.
