Family-friendly Hotels in Guwahati

While returning from Kaziranga, we stayed here overnight since we had to catch the morning flight on return. Considering our very good experience in Kzziranga, in the hotel of the same owner, expectations had increased. The location was nice, but I did not realise that Guwahati would be so so crowded :-). Unfortunately, the wear and tear and the lack of basic maintenance was showing. One could not sit on the chair since the seats needed to be refurbished, changed. What I saw the moment I entered the room can be seen in the picture. Other walls (e.g. under the window) had the same problem. Was very very disappointed. My request and suggestion to the management......it does not take more than one day to get one room fixed up --- paint and chair cushion etc. For the price of the room, we did not expect this, really.

Great location. Good breakfast spread. Friendly front desk team. Good restaurant option. Only wifi was not working most of the time. Other that that, not much to complain.

A great place for a family stay, food is good, Service given is great and the best thing is it is in a walking distance to City Center. Deepak haloi has been so wonderful person to connect and very helpful. Please visite this place for comfortable stay.
