Worse experience..after specially asked daal was not hot and when they served again roti were cold and when we ask them they served 3 fulka and we have ordered bread basket earlier and they charged for bread basket...and when l asked then to provide hair drier they said not available after 2nd call... furniture quality is of BABA ADAM KA JAMANA..they cost much higher but no facility accordingly... Uunchi Dukaan feeke pakwaan ....

Hotel Rajmaha was booked by my tour agent Aloka Das of Uphoria Travels. It looks situated in a busy steer where you hear traffic noise late in the night then again early in the morning. We checked in quite easily enough with lift access. The room had dark paneling and is quite outdated with low ceiling in hallway. The room itself is of average size with clean bathroom. As we walked in a 2 different staff came in without knocking or using the bell. A phone was replaced in the room however it had a layer of dust on it. The bathroom had only a pack of toothbrush pack. The linen on bed looked tired and stained. My husband ordered 2 serves of food via the manager in the reception because the phone wasn’t working. We received only one serve and were told the kitchen was closed and won’t have food until 7.30 pm. This was really disappointing. Going out was not an option because the hotel doesn’t have top end clean restaurants outside. Rubbish is loitered all over the road where this hotel is. Despite all this reception is open 24 hrs and we were able to checkout early for our flight without any dramas. They were nice enough to pack us a cold breakfast. Overall a simple hotel which charges exorbitantly for 3 star service. Not worth my money.

Ajay and Kalyani from restaurant banzaara were incredibly good, my were not able to walk a lot and they served us very well, the rest of the restaurant staff were polite as well, the stay was really comfortable and the housekeeping staff were very courteous and yeah. Highly recommended.

First thing first, this hotel is in very close vicinity of major tourist points in and around Gauhati. Be it Maa Kamakhya Temple, or Brahmaputra Riverfront, or Umananda Temple, or Fancy Bazaar, or Assam State Museum, or GS Road, Rajmahal hotel's location makes it very easy for you to reach any of these places fast enough, thus saving your time and money. We booked a Deluxe room for 5-day stay and found it comfy and amply-spaced with all necessities available in the room. All staff was very cooperative and provided help whenever needed. Room service was very quick, no noise or other distractions were observed during the leisure time. Toiletries including tooth brushes, tooth paste, combs, bathing soap, earbuds etc. were being replaced on daily basis (we experienced this for first time in any hotel across India, nobody else does it including Club Mahindra resorts). Cherry on cake was the Tasty Pure-vegFood, which this hotel offers. Cons: Hotel Wi-Fi speed was slow. There was an active bird nest in false-roof of the bathroom.

The hotel was located right in the middle of the busiest district and that was good for accessibility for going around. the first room we were shown in was very musty smelling and windows did not close fully in spite of it being an A/C room. we upgraded the room and shifted to a bigger one. the room was good but only when we left the next day early morning that we realised that there was no hot water and water tap didnt work. if the tap was on, we had the shower on too. the corridor was leaking water from the roof. it can get better but needs a lot of improvement

Service is excellent .Welcome at doorstep by putting Assamese Hat on Head And traditional Angvastram was beyond words. Pure vegetarian food is very tasty,yummy And delicious.Staffs are very humble,modest And friendly. A must stay in Guwahati.

the hotel promotes itself as a 4star hotel but its actually a 3 star hotel.. the rooms are decent and the north indian food in the banjara restaurant tastes very good.. the food prices are very very expensive.. this hotel is very close to the railway station and is right on AT road.. All the market places ( for me, it was business places / offices that i had to visit ) is very close by.. the only inconvenience is that there is a lot of noise from outside (being very close to the railway station and being on the main road ). During the day, it doesnot matter but during the night, its really very disturbing.. the lobby area is very big.. if you have your train for the second half of the day and you need to check-out at 12noon, you can easily wait in the lobby area...
