A good business hotel, but for the tariff, not value for money. The rooms are spacious, tidy and well kept. The restuarant has a large spread, though the add-on buffet breakfast is a little limited. The hotel is very inflexible regarding early check-in / late check-out requests - they charge for every additional hour of late check-out which for the high tariff was a bit unthoughtful. The property is good, but for the high tariff, there are better budget hotels of similar luxury at better prices.

My stay at Palacio Hotel was extremely disappointing from the moment of check-in. The reception staff, especially Mr. Nabajit Das, displayed unprofessional and rude behaviour, lacking even basic courtesy. We were allotted a heavily smoky room without our consent, and when we requested a non-smoking room, the staff argued instead of helping. Even after pre-booking and paying for an extra bed, we were shifted to a room where an extra bed couldn’t even fit. The service standards were shockingly poor — no packaged drinking water unless repeatedly asked, and only three half-litre bottles were provided. The toilets were old, with broken tiles, and to make things worse, cockroaches were seen moving around, making the stay feel unsafe and unhygienic. Despite the high room charges, the hotel failed in all aspects of hospitality. Overall, an extremely poor experience. This property does not deserve any star rating — future guests should be cautious before booking.

Located on the GS Road. I found the property to be near and clean. Staff is courteous. All your needs are taken care of. The food was good which I ordered in room. Breakfast spread is also nice.
