Clean and well located . Gentle and responsive staff.
Amenities seem old and dated ( position of shower knobs can’t be accessed unless you stand below shower) , had unfortunate incident of bathroom getting locked and unable to open and it was 2am typed . Staff did come and fix it within 5-7 minutes but was scary considering the hour.

I booked for 1 night but due to business complications i stayed for another 3. It was a good stay and friendly staff. The breakfast could have used some rotation as it was almost the same every day. Staff were helpful at the reception especially RAJASHREE & ABHINAV. And Bibhash from housekeeping.

Mr. Jayanta Das - Area Director NE India , Mr. Debojyoti Basak - Sales Head NE India , Mr. Himanshu Yadav- Director of Operations, Mr.Sandeep Makhroo- Hotel Manager, Mr. Loknath Katel- Food and Beverage Manager, Chef Asim Ghosh- Sous chef , Mr. Surajit Chatterjee- Restaurant Manager Mr. Bikash - GSA went above and beyond to help make my Teachers Day’s team party at Vivanta Guwahati a memorable one . They are incredible ! While hosting a party the most crucial part is the food and I and my guests indulged in a fresh wave of culinary excellence under the supervision of Sous Chef Asim Ghosh and the incredible team in the kitchen. Food quality was top-notch, refills were quick compared to other days , food was served hot and the service was just as impressive! Overall Vivanta Guwahati could be a great choice for parties / events. Thank you Mr. Mohanchandran - Vice President IHCL ( Taj ) India , for putting in a word. I had a delightful party for my team on Teachers Day.

Overall service is good ,rooms are clean . Staff is supportive and responsive. Only one suggestion in pool area showers are not working and pool bathroom are not clean and smelling so look into those issue. Room is clean and breakfast was great. I overall liked my stay and enjoyed the services
