I was twice in Gwangju and both times I was staying in ACC. It’s situated in one of the most popular areas nearby K-Pop Street - For BTS fans it meaningful place. It’s easy to get anywhere from the hotel!

My only complaint is that room services ends so early and that there was a balcony but no where to sit and enjoy it! The location is excellent to explore cultural and creative areas of Gwangju. The room was clean and comfortable. Front desk service was efficient and restaurant service was excellent.

Arrived around 9 PM to a 'Room Cleaning in Progress' sign and one team waiting to check in. Called the number provided and still waited an additional 10 minutes (room cleaning at 9 PM...?).
Starting from the room entrance, the cleanliness was subpar, making me uneasy... Hair was clearly visible in various spots on the floor.
The location was good, the location was good.

The hotel is located within the city center's commercial district, just a five-minute walk to Gwangju 5.18 Memorial Park, making its location very convenient. The rooms are a bit small, and the facilities and service are just average. Overall, considering the value for money, it's still worth a stay.

The location was excellent. Close to great restaurants and K-Pop Street. A buzz of activity at night.
Also, close to May 18 Archive Building and Jeonil Building 245 building. Handy for transport by train, bus or taxi.
The staff at ACC Design Hotel were very helpful and courteous.

This seems to be my go-to hotel whenever I visit Gwangju. There's so much to do nearby, and it's all within walking distance, plus there are tons of great restaurants. Just a heads-up though... I was a bit surprised when I realized the room I booked had no window, haha. But I really appreciated them bringing a fan so quickly!
