We enjoyed the ambiance as well as the room, which seemed to be the last one that had been available. Perhaps also due to the latter, there seemed to have been a problem with the plumbing in the bathroom, which was a bit disappointing. Otherwise, the location and atmosphere suited us very well.

Loved this hotel! This boutique hotel is absolutely amazing to stay at! It comprises of 2 buildings, both of different styles, but both beautiful and unique! this Art Nouveau treasure has a facade resurrected to its former glory in the "Armenian Belle Epoque" style and inside an appealing blend of old and new world! It reminds me of a European villa with the courtyard and the well in the middle, its so lovely to just sit around the courtyard with the trees and the running water, a very relaxing place to stay and enjoy

I have stayed at Villa Kars several times and find the location perfect and a lovely historical property. If you want to visit Gymri and have a wonderful experience, then Villa Kars is the hotel you want to stay at.

Hotel boutique según dice la agencia, pero no sé corresponde. Las habitaciones están muy poco arregladas, poco acogedoras además de sucias. Las tazas de café están sucias, el café en un tarro de cristal no se sabe si es café soluble o posos de café de lo duro que está. El baño es minúsculo, la cortina de la ducha ...(no digo más) , no hay portarrollos,unos estantes de madera sin barnizar que no pueden tener más polvo. No está limpio. No hay baire acondicionado y en una de las habitaciones había ventilador. Cuando les dijimos que estaba sucio , nos propusieron hacer una limpieza con nosotros dentro, cosa que no aceptamos pq venimos de vacaciones a conocer la población, no a ver cómo limpian.

Villa Kars is an authentic place in the heart of Gyumri. The location is fantastic with many museums and churches in a walkable distance.
The rooms are unique, each has its own style and name. We stayed in the room named after Mush thus time.

Location is great. Service and staff are excellent. Could be a bit more updated and clean. A security guard or a night watch would be strongly recommended for this location. My very last day, property had very loud and obnoxious guests. No one seemed to do anything about it. Need to manage who they rent out. Because they loose real clients over one guest. Very frustrating when you have to get up at 4am and shut other guests up so you can get some piece and quiet on your vaca. Very unfortunate that I had to see and experience how no one cared what type of guests they cater too. I could not go back to this place again.

Мы бронировали данный отель почти за неделю ! Когда приехали - нашей брони не обнаружили … Но заселили. Мы подумали - ну бывает. В номере очень холодно! 17 градусов показывает. Мы попросили решить вопрос - нам принесли обогреватель, который не соответствует правилам пожарной безопасности - искрит и шумит … Мы и на это закрыли глаза! Завтраки - отвратительные - нет сока, воду надо просить, молочные продукты заветренные, сыр не свежий, хлеб из морозилки - холодный жутко, кофе только сублимированный ( растворимый ) или варят в турке, хотя есть кофемашина ( видимо для дорогих гостей, к которым мы не относились) и ещё куча несвежести и чёрствости. Кроме яичницы:) Номера атмосферные, но требуют ремонта и ухода! Ванные полотенца пахнут костром, утюга нет даже по запросу, фена нет, банные пренадежрости при уборке не пополняют - иди проси, халатов нет ( это понятно космос ). Но самый апогей - в отеле нет принтера … А владельцы открыли ещё отель напротив и там тоже нет … Жаль здание, стены и место!
