The hotel has a luxurious appearance, the employees are very friendly and despite the fact that we arrived an hour earlier, a room was already available. The room and bathroom were neat and clean. The mattresses and pillows were firm, just the way I like them. In addition, there were plenty of free parking spaces. The bus stop for the bus to the center is very close, ideal!

Mooi ruim Hotel, fijne kamers en een zeer goed ontbijt. Bij aankomst bleek de gehele onderverdieping te zijn bezet met 77 Asielzoekers die op het gras rondom de parkeerplaats zaten en bij de ingang hingen. Dit had bij de boeking wel vermeld mogen worden! Het terras was ondanks het mooie nazomerweer niet bruikbaar door een bedrijfsfeestje de dag ervoor, geen aanstalten om de boel op te ruimen voor de gasten. Als ik dit had geweten had ik elders geboekt.

Very modern ,clean,good menu in the restaurant (we ate there 2 times ) Good bed lousy pillows. The number 300 bus stops across the road. 10 mins the the heat of town every 8to10 minutes. CONS The don’t have a pillow menu. They were to big. They don’t have an option of blankets rather than the doona which was way too hot. We paid upfront for 2 nights and when we went to extend for 1 more night they wanted 50 euros more per night over the other 2 nights. So we didn’t stay there and move on. Talk about look after your customers. As we hadn’t booked prior to arrival they wanted 150euros for the receptionist to enter our details. She told us to go and book on line then come back to her…..WTF. It was our 52 wedding anniversary also.

Das Hotel van der Valk ist sehr zu empfehlen. Die Zimmer sind sauber und grosszügig. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist reichhaltig und das Personal freundlich. Die Zimmer sind auch recht ruhig. Nur die Klimaanlage stört ein wenig, kann jedoch ausgeschaltet werden. Alles in allem jedoch top.

Fijn hotel en dicht bij het centrum.Ik was met mijn moeder. De airco waren ze aan het maken.Ik vond het super koud op de kamers.De kamers waren zeker netjes.Alleen de asielzoekers onder in het hotel vond ik geen uitnodiging. Mijn moeder en ik waren zeker voor het donker terug want vond het geen veilig gevoel.Het waren er honderden die er rond liepen. Was zeker een min punt.

We spent 2 weeks in Western Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands, and this was our favorite hotel. The hotel room was spotlessly clean, roomy, and fantastically comfortable. It was so quiet, I slept like a baby, and I usually don't sleep well away from home. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant one night (outstanding!), and the hotel breakfast is the best I've ever had, anywhere - every possible dish you can imagine for breakfast and all delicious!

Nou moet ik zeggen dat ik.van der valk altijd goed vind. De bedden zijn altijd voortreffelijk de grote van de kamer is meestal super ruim. Het personeel is altijd super vriendelijk, het ontbijt is altijd ruime keuze. Dus ik heb weer genoten van een weekendje haarlem. Het hotel ligt ook zeer dicht bij het centrum fiets gehuurd bij het hotel ook een plus punt
