We had the opportunity to stay at the Church while touring New Zealand and it was one of the nicest places we stayed at over a three week period. The owner/managers greeted us when we arrived and not only provided information about the property, it is beautiful, but also a lot of local things to do and places to visit. The grounds were beautiful, you could really see the love they have for the property. The "Cabin" type room was extremely pleasant - yep a very comfy bed. It included a lovely back deck for morning coffee and bird watching. If that wasn't enough, the resturant which is a part of the property was EXCELLENT I had lamb, of course, cooked to perfection!

Our family of 5 had a fantastic stay at The House. The grounds are beautiful, the staff friendly and responsive, and the house itself was beautiful and well-appointed. Really a gem of a vacation rental- our only wish that we could have stayed longer!

We stayed in the 3-bedroom house for a one-night quick stop and were thoroughly impressed. The hosts were lovely and extremely helpful, making our stay pleasant and stress-free. The property is surrounded by well-maintained and beautiful gardens, adding to the serene atmosphere. Its location is perfect—just a quick drive to the Hahei Explorer boat tour meeting point and a short drive to the Whitianga ferry point. Highly recommended!

The cottage was cosy and very comfortable with all we needed. Beautiful surroundings natural gardens with birds singing in the mornings. Private and quiet . The shower had good pressure and was spacious with easy access. The cottage was serviced and if more firewood was needed it was replaced and the bin was emptied. After two days the towels were replaced which was lovely to find on returning. We will look forward to staying again.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Church Accommodation and visiting Hahei, our only regret was not staying longer. We received a really warm and friendly welcome and the owners were able to give us lots of information on the area and particularly Hot Water Beach, which was really helpful. The cottage was well equipped, comfortable and clean. We had booked a breakfast tray, which was really good, and the town centre and attractions were close by. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept. Being able to use the laundry was an added bonus. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.

We were just overwhelmed by this stunning accomodation. We have already seen many holiday
places in the world bust this one is just stunning. The whole resort is very is a jewel. Gardens and
surroundings are just eye catching.
The owners Anna & Andreas as well as their manager Glen are running this extraordinary
accomodation with a love for details, customer orientation and highly professional hospitality
service.
The Church bistro is a highly recommended place to eat. The Souza family is putting their full
professionalism in cooking & servicing in place create a unforgettable evening dinner.
We enjoyed our time at Church accomodation and bistro very much and will come back for sure
in 2025. Thank you anna, Andreas, Glen and the whole Church team for that superbe experience

great location and very clean. Only thing feel needs to be updated is that the bathroom has the smallest basin.

The room was absolutely lovely, overlooking well tended gardens, it was the perfect place for a relaxing weekend away. It felt clean and fresh, and was within a few steps of the fabulous The Church Bistro, which we dined at. We borrowed spades and towels then visited Hot Water Beach, a short drive away. The service was friendly and inviting - I highly recommend The Church Accommodation.
