The hotel was undergoing renovations, so the exterior wasn't very appealing. Getting around Hakuba during the low season required using a local train, which is infrequent, but the hotel staff were very kind and gave me a ride. During the winter, there are buses running throughout the day, so it's important to research transportation options beforehand. The hotel food was delicious, filling, and impeccable.

The accommodation is right next to the ski slopes, close to popular attractions like Hakuba Harbor, Starbucks, and Oide Park. The staff were very attentive, and the food was delicious. It was great value for money, and the weather was lovely. I'll definitely be back if I get the chance!

The hotel's service was excellent, the views were great, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. It was also very clean and tidy. The host was incredibly warm and friendly. Plus, during the ski season, you can ski in and ski out! Highly recommend this place; I'd definitely choose this hotel again if I come back to Hakuba Goryu for skiing.

my room is quite big, hotel is just below amori chair lift, but if wanna go escal plaza is quite far, free car ride to the town/ski resort but u need to come back yourself. Room service everyday

The hotel is good. The rooms are nice; the building might not be super new, but the room itself is great and very spacious. The location is also excellent, right in front of the ski resort. The kids loved it! If we come back, we'll definitely stay here again.

My friend’s luggage got misplaced to another bus during our way from airport to Hakuba! The staff was super helpful and helped us to contact the bus driver and got it to be deliver back to us. The location is super convenient! Just right in front a chair lift. The staff are all super friendly. The room is clean & big enough for 3 ppl.

Pros: It's close to the ski lift, which provides access to all the slopes.
There's a rental shop nearby for skis, snowboards, and sleds for kids.
The staff sometimes drove us to the store or main street.
It's beautiful on the outside, and on sunny days, there's a stunning mountain view from the window.
Cons: The breakfast was meager and repetitive. Dinner was expensive – ¥4000 per adult, so we didn't even go and ate elsewhere.
The room was freezing cold! It didn't warm up all day, even with the air conditioning set to 30 degrees Celsius. Especially the futon area – it felt like a 'cold shower' (literally, a 'sobering-up room').
Bottom line – I don't recommend this hotel.
