This is a very traditional old Japanese house, and it's less than a 10-minute walk from the JR subway station.
The house operates as a guesthouse, with shared bathroom facilities.
Our room had a beautiful view of the snow-capped mountains, which was absolutely stunning.
Although some of the facilities are a bit old, it felt very cozy and welcoming.
Breakfast was simple, just toast and coffee.
If you're looking for a typical hotel experience, this might not be your first choice. However, if you want to experience traditional Japanese-style accommodation, this is a great option. Plus, the landlady is incredibly friendly, speaks excellent English, and is very engaging.
I personally recommend it.

The location is very convenient close to Hakuba station and Hakuba Bus terminal. The place is clean and comfortable to stay and I highly recommend.
The Host is truly kind, friendly, and could communicate in English. I'm very grateful to be here in Hakuba 🙂

Good spot for ski trip in hakuba. Staff can speak fluent english and friendly. There are restaurants and supermarket nearby. Enjoyed the stay here!!!
