Wonderful B & B The hosts, William and Jane, were friendly and engaging without being intrusive. The Manor House and gardens are sublime. It was a perfect location to travel to Stow on the Wold, Batsford Arboretum, Bourton on the Water, etc It caters for 3 B&B guest rooms. Due to steps and stairs those with a dissability may find it difficult but best call the hosts first and discuss this prior to booking. Breakfast was good, sufficient fornus. Cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit salad was available and a cooked breakfast is prepared to order. My wife and I would be very happy to return. If you feel a tad cold a portable fan heater is available, but the central heating is more than adequate. Many different eating options in pubs, restaurants and gastro pubs within a 10min drive.

The Old Manor House, a real insider tip, is very quiet and in a great location. We couldn't have wished for a better holiday home and host. The large rooms are furnished with attention to detail, you immediately feel very comfortable. The large and well-kept garden is really beautiful. There is also plenty of parking available. William and Jane are great hosts, we enjoyed the conversations at breakfast and always got great tips for our activities. The breakfast was delicious, plentiful and lovingly prepared. If our next trip to England takes us back to the area, we will definitely want to stay here again.

The Old Manor House was an amazing gem tucked in the heart of the Cotswolds. Our room was spacious and comfortable, the bathroom was renovated and polished. The charm of the home was simply breathtaking and the gardens were gorgeous. William and Jane were amazing hosts, warm and welcoming, and we appreciated our time with them as well as in the Cotswolds. Breakfast was delicious with everything we could want. One other nice perk was the parking area... which has plenty of space, which we found out is a rare commodity!

Wow. This was my first word when I arrived at the Old Manor House. It is so beautiful - the house, the rooms, the shared areas, the gardens, the surrounding area near the house. I was so lucky to find this beautiful B&B and grateful to Jane and William for such kind and warm hospitality. I was visiting the area for work and had an early start the second day so they accommodated a cold breakfast for me which was so delicious! Fresh tropical fruit and homemade granola with yoghurt. The hot breakfast on the first morning was an amazing country breakfast with the best sausages, toast and eggs. The room was beautifully decorated and I loved staying in the oldest part of the house which dates from 1555. House has connections to Shakespeare and so much local history. I will stay here again on a mini break (holiday) to see more of the area when I'm not on a work trip. Highly recommend this lovely, lovely B&B.

Jane was very welcoming, we were served with delicious carrot cake & tea in the beautiful lounge with a cosy fire to warm us up. The room was very comfortable, immaculate and peaceful. The breakfast was perfect, my partner enjoyed his fry up and Jane was very accommodating with my gluten free intolerance & provided the gluten free bread as requested. Absolutely 5 Stars! Highly recommended!

An idyllic place to stay with stunning gardens, a beautiful house and lovely village. We were welcomed upon arrival with tea and homemade cake which we enjoyed on the terrace overlooking the gardens in a very peaceful atmosphere. Our room was in the oldest part of the house and was very quaint with lovely crisp bedding. A little confusion over timing & breakfast choice on the second day. We were well looked after by William & Jane

Spent just one night in the wonderful cottage, unfortunately would have loved to have stayed there longer. We had a sumptious room with every facility and the most comfortable bed gave us a great nights sleep. We had to leave very early the next morning but the Owners could not have been more accomodating arranging our breakfast before 7am. Couldn't speak more highly of the welcome we received, looking forward to our next visit

Our bridal party stayed here just before and after the wedding at a venue nearby at Blackwell. We booked all three rooms in the main house so had the place to ourselves. Jane and William were wonderful hosts. Jane was very patient and worked with me to ensure she understood our arrangements but also accommodated later changes. We had a very comfortable stay, the property is large and quiet. Having breakfast sorted took the pressure off us during a busy time.

A special welcome awaits you from Jane and William at this delightful, historic B & B in the peaceful village of Halford. It's a beautiful house in stunning grounds overlooking the River Stour. I was walking Shakespeare's Way from Stratford and this was my first stop. Despite arriving early I was warmly greeted with tea and cake. My bedroom dated back to 1556, featuring ancient beams and a very comfortable bed. My breakfast was first class. I thoroughly recommend the Old Manor House for every type of traveller. Note that pub in Halford is excellent but does not serve food on Monday or Tuesday.
