So we were there for a weekend and we both liked it very well. The hotel was central and you could reach everything well walking. Of course there was also close connection to public transport.
The breakfast was very good and also varied. Service staff were also friendly there.
You had all you need there and we would certainly come back.

For a one-night stay while crossing Germany, it must be said that we were not looking for anything fancy. The Atlas hotel, however, made us feel at home, and credit is primarily for the staff, especially considering the tougher times of the pandemic. So, in spite of few people hanging around, and a less than lively atmosphere, we felt welcome and this is very much appreciated. Not all the fixtures are the most modern you could expect, but that was still very acceptable in terms of overall ambience, and our 3-bed solution was incredibly spacious, too.

We arrived late but the counter lady was very friendly and helpful. Offered good advice on where to dine and offered room service. The room was clean and water pressure for shower was excellent.

Great value for money. Needed a hotel for a quick stopover along the autobahn and ended up choosing Campanile airport hotel. Really happy with our choice; clean rooms with bunk beds for the kids and a great breakfast for a great price. Convenient parking as well to a subsidized price for hotel guests. Location is a bit off, but if you’re looking for an airport hotel or a hotel along the autobahn look no further. Note that they don’t have a restaurant so make sure you bring food with you, or eat in advance - options at the airport is limited and very expensive.

This very sad hotel stuck in the 90’s was very disappointing . The hotel staff were friendly, but one couldn’t tell the staff from guests apart, because they didn’t wear a uniform or have name badges on. The room was very dark. Dark old rug, very dark wooden closets that were way to large for the room. That dark furniture had seen better days and the bed wasn’t comfortable. The bathroom a nightmare. The shower was old and dingy, black spots of mold between the grout. The soap dispenser was over 1 meter away from the sink. Very nerve racking. The breakfast buffet was somewhat disappointing. There was almost everything available, but the long lines at the 1 coffee maker wasn’t an ideal situation. After 1 week , I was happy to leave.

Very Good
KKatja HA very beautiful and quiet hotel near the main station. The city centre is great to reach and with the tram that also drives nearby, you can very well explore the city. The rooms were very clean and beautifully furnished. The staff, whether at the reception, in the restaurant or in the housekeeping, were very friendly. Breakfast buffet is very rich and the dinner in the restaurant has tasted us very well.

AAnonymous UserWe have been sleeping here one night to meet the family in the Christmas market. The location is ideal for this. I had some concerns about the location so close to the Riebeckplatz, and I must also say that despite closed windows, there has been some traffic heard. No problem for urbans but for rural residents, if necessary. The air conditioning was already quite noisy. We had to make it up at night as it was warm in the room. Unfortunately we had to reconfigure it again at night because it wasn't running in the right mode.
Otherwise we didn't miss anything. The room size was good. Even games were out on the room. The bar we used later evening and could make the day sound comfortable.

NNguyenMinh AnhThe hotel is nicely and centrally located, basic needs are within reach of under 5 min walk. The room, however, is too poorly equipped - no telephone, no slippers, no safebox, etc. The staff's attitude was not so friendly also, I did not feel welcomed and would rather just check myself in with the machine they have near the front door. All in all, it was a nice stay but I still think they could do better even just for the cheapest rooms.

OOmeathA very nice boutique hotel— blends well into the Lessingsrasse—easy to get there by. public trabsport( streetcar). The center/ the university/ the Moritzburg/ the castle Giebichstein within walking distance. The old facade well restored. First glance— and you like this hotel: customer friendly personnel/ a nice courtyard/ comfortable rooms( tgecstabdard rooms: o.k.— I would recommend to reserve a “ Komfort- DZ with king size bed). The breakfast excellent— a good variety. In summer you can enjoy the breakfast on the terrace in the courtyard.A sauna— relaxing after a day of work.

GGuest UserI really like 'classic' hotels: sweeping staircases, uniquely shaped rooms, vintage furniture, slightly creaky hallways etc. Dormero fits the bill. but.... Hospitality is key. I arrived at the hotel at 23:06. I was told I had no reservation. After insisting, I was told that my reservation was cancelled because I was too late, the desk closes at 23.00, and why did I not know that. I tried digging into my high school German to apologise, but was then confronted with the fact that I may not refer to the desk clerk as 'Du', but should use 'Sie' (I remember this, I should have used 'you' (Sie)) instead of 'you' (Du) as a matter of politeness). Then she complained I had a 'foreign' phone number so she couldn't contact me to check if I was coming (I am a global traveller, but have a phone from a neighbouring EU country. SMS/whatsapp/phone calls all work.) Anyway, it took at least 15 minutes for the clerk to 'retrieve' my reservation and get me the key. some background about my role in this. I looked up the hotel on the largest hotel website, but booked on the hotel's own site. Why give more money to the platform. So, you think the hotel would value my consideration. I received the email confirmation and just checked quickly that the date was correct. I was planning to check in to the hotel before my business dinner at 19.00, but my train arrived an hour late, so I had to run to dinner. This stuff happens, and you hope that accommodations can accommodate this. I have come across hotels with early desk closing. They always mail or text separately that this is the case, and then describe how to enter hotel of pick up key after hours (ever heard of a key-code entry system?). Anyway, next trip I may book the corporate box hotel and skip the quaint. A pity.

GGuest UserDa ich beruflich viel in Hotels unterwegs bin, möchte ich nachstehend meine Wahrnehmungen im Hotel schildern. Rechts neben dem Eingang war ein deutlich sichtbarer „Teppich“ aus Vogelkot, den man mit einem Hochdruckreiniger sicherlich gut entfernen könnte. Der Empfang selbst war freundlich, das Zimmer selbst jedoch relativ klein und das Doppelbett mit einer Größe von - zumindest gefühlt - 140 x 200 cm ebenfalls, genau wie der Fernseher und das Bad, sehr klein. Wände und Teppichböden wiesen deutliche Gebrauchsspuren auf und auch die Deckenlampe war mit dem Aufkleber eines deutschen Fussballvereins beklebt. Dazu war die Badezimmertür beschädigt. Direkt am Empfang wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass das Restaurant am Tag unserer Anreise nicht geöffnet hat, da - lt. Aushang im Fahrstuhl - kein Personal zur Verfügung stand. Im Frühstücksraum waren am ersten Tag diverse Tische nicht abgeräumt, teilweise nicht neu eingedeckt oder nur partiell eingedeckt. Am zweiten Tag war dies besser. Abschließend sei angemerkt, dass die Lüftung im Frühstücksbereich eine Reinigung vertragen könnte. Gleiches gilt für die Heizkörper im Lichthof.
