We had a great & easy stay here, in a family room. The access to the amenities kitchen was helpful for meals & the motel is just around the corner from central halls gap. There is electric blankets on all four beds which helps after long walks to jump into a warm & snuggle bed. Overall our stay was convenient, comfortable & warm.

Beds were great, TV excellent, heating and electric blankets were great. Our only criticism is the taps are hard to turn on and off which is a shame. Communication was excellent too. Halls Gap is a nice place to visit but many of the eateries were closed early in the week. The Kookaburra Hotel does decent food.

Location, facilities and amenities were great. Firepit, heating & electric blankets during winter made everything very cozy and comfortable.
Managers Kelly & David were very accessible, friendly and helpful and made the stay more memorable
Location excellent - close to everything including a short walk to Sunday Farmers market

Easy walking distance to restaurants and the amazing trails. Plenty of wildlife and fantastic hosts. Clean rooms and beautiful surroundings. The staff were happy to advise on places to eat and things to try. I was in halls gap for a run and Kelly (manager) pointed out some native mint that I could rub into my legs that would help with lactic acid after. I’ll definitely be back 😊

Posizione comoda per visitare i Grampians e affascinante per la presenza di tanti canguri. Camera spaziosa e letto comodo. Purtroppo, bagno poco pulito e eccessivamente freddo. Il riscaldamento della stanza non riesce a scaldare anche il bagno.

The whole place had a lovely feel. Surrounded by nature. The bedding was perfect and we were able to sleep well for the 2 nights we were there. Reasonably close to town so it was easy to go into town for dinner. The wild emus and kangaroos are an added bonus. Loved the staff.
