Pompano Beach Club

My husband, daughter and son in law have just returned from a fabulous week at Pompano Beach Club. This is our fifth stay there (yes! We are newbies!). From the moment we arrive and are so very graciously welcomed by CeCe to hugs from Lorna and Lynn and Shirley in the Cedar Room, we know we are in the best possible hands. We love every single moment at Pompano. Our children skoot around the island sight seeing and fishing while my husband and I just relax and enjoy every moment either looking at the gorgeous sea or swimming in it. We love all our meals and cocktails there. Thank you Velda, George, Greg, Rodell, and all the others for waiting on us so beautifully. Larry and Tom Lamb have put together a stellar crew there at Pompano. As always, we booked our stay for next year before we departed. Until next year Pompano! ❤️

Visited in April/May to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. Have wanted to visit Bermuda for many years and spent a lot of time researching all the hotels and just loved the sound of Pompano which doesn’t feature with many UK agents so emailed the hotel and booked direct. Communication with Tracy the reservations manager was very prompt and all questions were answered. We booked a return pickup from the airport via the the suggested taxi service directly too which worked very well. Our stay at Pompano was lovely, our room number 8 had the most spectacular view of the bay below which we never tired of looking at. The hotel is perched in a stunning position and beautiful at any time of day. The parrot fish and mullet fish are mesmerising to watch and frequently seen in the bay. The water is just beautiful, crystal clear and the sand comfortable under foot without the need for beach shoes. The sunsets are also something to behold. We thoroughly enjoyed the meal plan and the weekly swizzle party! All members of staff were very friendly and wanted to ensure our stay was perfect. We met Larry who was completely hands on with all aspects of the day to day running of the Pompano and refreshing to see. The hotel in places, including our room was a little tired and could do with some attention. But somehow this didn’t trouble us too much as there was so much to love about the hotel and its people. We loved it so much we’re now planning our next visit.

The staff was excellent and friendly, also very helpful. We had a good time.

Just home from a wonderful five night stay at Pompano. It was a special trip to celebrate my mum’s 80th birthday so we had a deluxe room right by the water (room 1) which was a great spot. Big bed for mum and single sofa bed for myself which was very comfy. Fell asleep listening to the tree frogs! Having read one review before I went about the rooms being dated, I was a little nervous but what the rooms may lack in glamour and glitz, the hotel more than makes up for in location, friendliness and charm. The room was perfect really…was only in it to sleep! All I wanted was to be on the beach and in the sea as it is so beautiful. Bright turquoise 180° views from the rooms and restaurants are unbeaten on Bermuda. The meal plan was well worth doing as you really won’t want to leave the hotel and if you do, you’ll want to get back to those views as soon as possible! Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. Lunch at the poolside cafe was great for seafood salads and home made pizza. Beach bar staff were great for cocktails and mocktails. The five courses at dinner were too much for us so we usually had two or three. Salads, Lamb, Salmon, Steak, vegetarian options. Lots to choose from and all enjoyed. If I could afford it, I’d go back every year. I can see why so many people return to Pompano every year. The owners and the staff are like family…and can I mention the views again?!! Will always have a place in my heart for Pompano and cannot recommend it enough. Don’t be tempted by the five star corporate hotels…Pompano is the place!

This is our 5th time here & it’s absolutely fantastic! The staff all go above & beyond to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible! Because it is built on a hill the staff uses golf carts to bring you anywhere with never a problem! The food plan is amazing with the many choices & delicious cuisine! The beach is SO spectacular!! The owners, Tom & Larry, welcome you like you are part of their family ! They have a lot to be proud of with their staff, food, accommodations & hospitality!

Absolutely stunning view and such kind waitstaff.

We loved it here! Private beach, heated pool, hot tubs, great food, and the best part was THE STAFF. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating and the owner is delightful as well! We'll never stay anywhere else in Bermuda.
