Without a doubt, this was one of our best experiences. We had the pleasure of staying a few nights in early January, with friends who are visiting from the UK - we could not fault a thing. But, what really shows the superb hospitality John and his team turned on for us, was when we had to do a last-minute booking to stay again (late at night) because our friends had been in a car accident and been discharged from hospital. Not only did we get a bed, but John went over, above and beyond to help us in our hour of need. If we ever need to stay in Hamilton again - this will be our first choice. I highly recommend Quantum Lodge to others. Thanks so much John, you're a champion :o)

Be aware that this isn't actually a motel. It is a private apartment own by a motel group. You have to travel to Ashwood Motel to check-in, which I would have liked to know beforehand.
The room itself it quite nice, clean, spacious, new and modern. It also came with a bit of milk and biscuits, etc. That I thought was a nice touch.
I'd be happy to stay again and recommend you do to.

Good location, by the river, you can take a walk when you go out. It is also located in the city center, and it is convenient to eat and shop next to it. The room is small, only the kettle and fridge. But health is good.

We stayed at the novotel for 3 night while I had surgery. The hotel is clean and tidy. The rooms are great with everything you would need. We didn't get milk but saw them on a service cart so might have been missed. The rooms were quiet but wouldn't say sound proof. The only issue was parking. We paid 32 for valet parking and it's was fine first night as it was kept in the basement but then it got busy and they took it elsewhere. Hubby was trying to come see me after surgery and he waited 40 mins outside for the vehicle. He isn't someone who likes to go back and follow up he hates confrontation and he waited till 30 mins then went and asked. Staff were friendly and there was always someone on the desk. Room service was good and hubby had dinner but was quiet expensive. I wouldn't stay again if I needed parking. But if I didn't I'd stay there so close to town and hospital

The staff are amazing. I had a health scare while I was staying there. The closest ambulance was 3 hours away. One of the staff members I believe her name was Kodie, drove me in her own vehicle to the hospital. She was amazing. I can't thank her enough.

Do not stay here unless you plan on having a terrible night’s sleep. This hotel is a nightmare! There is a sign as you enter the room saying “no discos or parties” which is just as well because there is plenty of that going on, on the street below for you to enjoy while trying to get to sleep until 3 or 4 am. The only good thing initially about the hotel is the location however that soon proved to be a negative with the insane amount of noise until super late (music, loud cars, people yelling and an odd humming noise in the ceiling). The room - especially the bathroom is lower quality more like a 2-3 star hotel. I have no idea how this is considered 4 star! The toilet seat was yellowish and well used - not attached well to the toilet and slid around. The shower water pressure is weak and positioned for people who are short. The carpet is well worn and the towels small. There are limited parking spaces which are first come first serve. Terrible customer service. The people at the front desk are unhelpful and did not explain how to get into the hotel after hours leaving me stranded outside until they finally answered the phone and hurriedly provided a code for the door. The lift sounds like it is about to break and was out of order at 1am. This hotel is perfect if you don’t value sleep, quality and friendly customer service. I would prefer to eat a cheese grater than stay here again.

I am a motel cleaner myself and I must admit I did check everywhere out of curiosity and I was not disappointed, everything was spotless, everything you need is in the room except for a microwave and oven but Uber eats is a great option and I feel not as guilty ordering when you don’t have any other choice. I tried to watch the TV which wouldn’t work at first so needed to be reset then once it was working could not get sound with Netflix but had sound with the normal tv channels wasn’t a problem for us as we had devices and the wifi works well, the handle for the shower and bath are connected, normally I’m guessing u can turn them on separately but it wasn’t allowing me to do that, so when I had a shower the bath tap was also running. Very minor things wrong that didn’t affect our time here

We stayed early Nov 2023 for our sons wedding. The accommodation is very clean and everything there that you need. Large bathrooms and there was plenty of water and milk provided in the fridge on the first floor. The beds were large and comfortable. The venue for weddings is perfect, plenty of parking and room for large groups in the common areas. The reception room is perfect with a view from all the windows it makes a great backdrop for the photos. The grounds are very well kept and it was a delight to stay there. The staff are so attentive, hard working and so friendly and efficient. Check in was a breeze, very informative and helpful. The continental breakfast was very well catered for starting the day. Thank you everyone at The Narrows Landing, I will be highly recommending to family and friends.

The hotel is very close to the airport, the restaurant is delicious, and there seems to be no advantages. There are many small hares and squirrels on the small lawn of the hotel. It is not bad to take the children to see.

Outstanding
GGuest UserExtremely hospitable from start to finish. All staff are top notch. Located on a street that has a steep inclined, this adrenaline junkie wheelchair babe ” Loved It ”. Close to the hospital, with easy access. Less than 150 metres to convenience stores. We loved our room, nice and cosy. My crew and I will always think fondly of Argent, Graeme and his merry band of gorgeous caretakers. NB If you use a mobility aid, wheelchair, crutches please inform them when booking. if you don't own your own portable ramp to travel with, you can hire them in Hamilton
GGuest UserAbsolutely one of the best in hospitality, Service, spacious and beautiful rooms. So caring and thoughtful whilst our stay as our Mum was in Waikato Hospital. They really went above and beyond, can't really thank them enough. Maree and Grant are superb hosts and we would refer them to anyone 😊 Thank you for Everything!!! Simon Bel and Boys
GGuest UserThis was the most expensive motel we stayed in on our holiday and the worst. We had a one bedroom and a single in the lounge both comfortable. The roller blind in the bedroom did not fit right over the window so bright light from outside came in both sides and there was no curtain on the back door and as it shone straight into the kitchen lounge area the single bed space was very light. The kitchen was very small and all cups etc on a high shelf we had difficulty reaching. The microwave was above the sink at face height so often banged our head as we tried to do dishes. The bathroom shower was great but bathroom extremely small and no where to put anything, toilet shower vanity all in together which is fine but you had to shut the door to even open the shower or get to the toilet was very squashed. Also long black hair on the floor in bathroom and we are both fair! yuk. They had no where comfortable for 2 people to sit and was quite noisy by the road. Says on website about a cafe but we didn't see one and it wasn't mentioned by owner and we were there 2 nights. Overall not a great experience sadly .
HHAIYANThe location of the hotel is very good, right on the shore of Lake Wanaka, very close to the lonely tree. Resort-style hotel with a beautiful environment. Very large suite. Easy parking. Did not eat breakfast at his house, do not know the breakfast situation. The view from the restaurant towards the lake is very good.
WWendyWe were pleasantly surprised. The room was spacious, tidy, and really well presented. The bathroom was really big, and the shower was awesome. We were a bit worried about traffic noise as it's on a busy road and next to a BP station, but once the windows were closed, it was so quiet. You honestly couldn't hear anything. You do have to go to another motel to book inn, which isn't a problem, but it should be mentioned when you make your booking. Will definitely stay here again.
GGuest UserWhat a great stay! The reviews here made me nervous about my upcoming business trip to Hamilton. Our travel agents booked me into the Quest and I was pleasantly surprised! The front desk staff both days were lovely and so helpful. I parked across the road at Wilson Parking, easy as. The hotel entrance, first floor lobby and my room were great. Very clean and nicely fitted out. The kitchenette in my room (108) was well equipped, as was the bathroom - the washing machine was a bonus. My bed was comfortable and I also had a work desk, small table for eating and lounge chairs. The only downside was not being able to watch TV from bed as there's a small wing wall in the way. I love the long list of charge back restaurants nearby and used this facility for dinner and breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.
FFlyingkiwiki1010We were in Hamilton for a week on business and stayed at the Stadium Motel, in one of three 2 bedroom duplex apartments located adjacent to the main accommodation wing. Lets start with the positives: Our host was a lovely lady who was very pleasant. The motel is not used for MSD emergency housing and our unit had quite new TV's in both bedrooms and a very large TV in the living area with good picture quality. And now for the negatives: Our apartment was tired, uncared for and worse, it was not clean. Stadium Motel is a very standard type of lodging that was probably built about 20 years ago, and since then has apparently enjoyed little maintenance and no refurbishment. Many of the fixtures and furnishings are stained, dented, broken or just old and tatty. But it was the lack of cleanliness that was most concerning. Crusty food splatters in the microwave and on a dinnerplate, dirty windows and walls, dusty grime covered appliances and surfaces, and curtains hanging off the rails were some of the faults that quite obviously have gone unattended for months or years. Much of this could be easily rectified with a scheduled maintenance and cleaning program, which I did bring to the attention of our lovely host. Stadium Motel may never be the destination for a family vacation or a romantic getaway, but it should be an okay place to stay, which sadly at the moment it's not. Instead it was a rather depressing place to be.
JJINGYUANThe hotel has convenient transportation and convenient parking. The room is large enough and it is very thoughtful with air and electric blankets. There is a double bed and a single bed in the room, and there is no problem with a child. The room layout is reasonable, there are kitchen stoves and refrigerators and dining tables and chairs, the bathroom is very convenient to separate dry and wet, will recommend friends to stay.
MMumtaz MerdjHello,
First of all this is My 3rd booking at this hotel..secondly it's value for money ,very clean ,very spacious inside each rooms ,very presentable, and comfortable beds ..Kitchen was Perfect ,as I needed to boil my tea in a stove top and not electric kettle ,so I loved it because there was stove top ..Microwave just made my dinner, as I bought frozen pizza from pal n save and just cooked it that microwave as it had settings for cooking ..even rice ..but I just had 2 cheese pizzas..So the room which had 4 single beds and one queen bed for $153.00for one night..just enough for me to get up n drive back to NEWPLYMOUTH..
AFTER the 4hrs drive, this room made me so relaxed, so comfy that ,I was wide alert while driving back to NPL.
THE carpark was just in front of my room ..,easy access to my vehicle for grabbing my belongings ..
The service actually was MY BEST experience ..
MANU is like a father to me I mean ..close to my dad's brother's age ..Last booking ,it was him who helped me ,when I needed a room for my husb who was disable due to his recent illness, so Manu had provided us a room ,as requested..down stairs n in front of our parking ..so this booking ,it was him who was ..very polite ,very professional n friendly..I have Been here 3 times ,to reception...Manu is the BEST staff there ...well apart from all this I would like to conclude that from now on..I will continue booking ..at this same hotel . I hope I 🙏 I always get served by the same staff Manu or I always prefer the same room ..4 single beds with one queen..
Thanks for your time ...God 🙏 bless you all .
See again soon ..I wish I could Always book this during the coming summer holidays from now..but I'm pretty sure ...I have to just wait for my commitments .
Thanks
