I read some of the bad reviews and am confused because none of them correspond with my experience. Here’s what I personally think people should know: It’s a lovely historic B&B - yeah, it’s not super fancy, but my room was lovely, with a super comfortable bed, and a window unit air conditioner (which I LOVE because even with central air it was a bit warm for me in this heat wave.) There’s a cute little set up in the hallway with muffins, yogurt, a Keurig, and cold water bottles that you can access at any time. There was no mini-fridge (I didn’t really expect it) in the room, though, so be aware of that. Yes, it’s not staffed 24/7, but the owner or manager is very accessible through text, and for me, personally, I don’t see anything wrong with this. You get a key and can easily go in and out. It WAS a little confusing on check in because the doors were locked and I didn’t know what to do at first, but when I went down to the outdoor restaurant they got the owner/manager right away and she checked me in, showed me where stuff was, and a staff member helped me with my bags. If you are coming in, just know to check down by the restaurant or message them before hand. Also, the price is super reasonable, especially for the lovely location so close to AC and the beach! There’s also another bar/restaurant right across from the b&b. I, personally, would happily stay here again if in this area and would absolutely recommend it to others.
