I stayed in a standard Japanese-style room. The room was spacious, the view from the window was great, and the staff were very friendly. The large public bath was equipped with several types of shampoo treatments, and the spring water was the thickest I've ever had, and the breakfast was also luxurious, which surprised me.

I am a US traveler on business. I have visited Kashoen before and based on my experiences it is the only hotel I will ever stay at in Hanamaki.
The hotel staff are the kindest, most caring, and passionate people I have met at a hotel. The amenities are fantastic, the hotel food is phenomenal, and my stay is always relaxing. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.
There is a nice nature trail nearby with a river that is beautiful as well.
If you are in Hanamaki or are looking for somewhere to enjoy a peaceful weekend at, I suggest Kashoen.

I made a reservation from the site on the day of my stay.
You were very flexible with a lot of things.
The inside of the hotel was very quiet and calm.
The large communal bath was perfect, and there were many shampoos and treatments available, and the quality of the springs was very good, and the amenities were perfect.
What surprised me was that there was a case with a key under the basket for changing clothes, so I thought it was well maintained for crime prevention.
I was very satisfied with the hot spring and the meal.
I would like to use it again next time.

食事とお風呂が素晴らしい。食事は味もさることながら、量がちょうどよいというか絶妙でした。お風呂もとろとろの湯で露天風呂では庭の松の木も楽しめてよかったです。アメニティも充実していて、お風呂にタオルとバスタオルが備え付けてあって、手ぶらでお風呂に行ける。これもすごくよかったです。

We stayed for two nights in a room with a semi-open-air bath as a birthday present for my daughter. The large public bath and room amenities were all there, and we could go to the large public bath empty-handed, so we were very satisfied with the service. The portions were just right and we were able to eat slowly in the room, and since breakfast wasn't crowded, we were able to eat slowly in the quiet.
