This hotel represents everything good about exploration and doing so in luxury. The hotel is in very close proximity to the airport and the main town, making it easy once you arrive from Santiago to settle in the hotel quickly. The rooms are very well appointed with everything one ever needs. The hotel arranges excursions daily that guests can join along to and varies every day providing something compelling daily for all. The hotel can also arrange private excursions which is what I did if guests want a custom program or want to explore the island quickly. Finally, the f&b at the hotel, particularly lunch and dinner is unbelievable and rivals any restaurant anywhere in the world and the fact it is all in the most remote place on earth makes this place extremely worthwhile and worth the price tag.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed anywhere in the world. The location right on the coast and near the town was outstanding. The restaurants were fabulous and the staff was always helpful and friendly. I would love to return to this hotel.

From the beautiful hotel appearance to the Pacific views and the staff all makes a huge difference in a quality stay in a very remote area. We were always treated well and got the help we needed. I would definitely stay here again if I return. We did a lot of the excursions which we had a great time with qualified leaders etc. I stayed for four nights and five days in the Kainga.

Pessoal do hotel muito simpático e prestativo. Mas a estrutura do hotel está decadente. Mesmo com baixíssima ocupação me deram o quarto mais longe dos serviços do hotel. Café da manhã muito precário. Mato grande em todo o jardim.

Very nice
Location is the best in front of sea view and beautifully designed landscape is very impressive.
But the room wasn't convenient especially bathroom shower .
Very roomy but not efficient .

Amazing experience, fantastic staff
It was very comfortable to stay at this resort in Rapa Nui. The rooms are comfortable and quirky, but the real value is in the amenities. The staff is so friendly and helpful. They will help you with all of your arrangements from rental car to excursions. The breakfast was included in our booking and was a great variety, including custom omelets. You need to have your expectations in the right place. This is an extremely isolated island -- one of the most remote places in the world -- so obtaining building supplies and such is a challenge, so most places are behind on maintenance when compared to other locations around the globe. Just accept this as part of the experience or this is not the right destination for you.
