We were very glad to have the room upgraded that included breakfast. Great selection and so happy we could have ‘toufu nao’ again before we leave. Great river and Olympic Sport Stadium view. Very comfortable stay except for the very flat pillows.

Beautiful hotel. The service is top ⬆️. Our room was upgraded. For my birthday they made a little surprise on the window. The breakfast is very rich and delicious. Recommended

The intercontinental hotel in Hangzhou is a magnificent piece of architecture. It is structured like a giant sphere, and once you get inside, there’s a massive space in the middle where you can look up and see all the floors above, and it’s really something to behold. I found the staff to be very nice and friendly, and Ella at the front desk (who is a young woman) was friendly to me and helped me out - so just to give her a rap. The hotel is also not too far from a kind of underground shopping centre below a very nice park, which is beside the hotel. You can also walk down to raffles city, which is another nice shopping centre about five minutes walk across the other side of the park. All ip I found my stay here very nice. I’d highly recommend the hotel to others.

Excellent location with easy access to Metro. Our room looks over the river and city.

Location was really good and the Service was excellent, the only thing was our windows were a little dirty and the carpet had some stains. The hotel is very pretty inside

Everything was smooth until the check-out happened. I was scared because I need to pay something for ordering food. I explained that we did not order anything and that we had dinner outside the hotel. They tried calling the hotel restaurant to confirm and they said that it for for burger and beer and that it was ordered around 10pm. I told them that we were outside during that time. They let me wait for over 20 minutes and they still couldn’t figure it out. I know it is not the fault of the front-desk staff. I need to catch a train and didn’t know what to do. I said I will just pay it but I asked them to check it further, maybe the CCTV, the money was refunded eventually but no one informed about what actually happened. It is scary to not really know what happened. Did someone actually ordered using our room number? Or was it a technical mistake? Not sure. I would probably stay again in this hotel but I will inform the front-desk staff to not allow anyone order a room service.

Good location and environment

Good hotel in the newly developed area of Hangzhou! The design of the hotel is pretty cool although the rooms might be a bit old school. Everything is clean and room is large and nice. Good gym with large variety of equipments and weights.

Only 2 bottles of water, no turndown service. Coffee machine not Nespresso, tea bag also not TWG.
