An upsetting experience. Owner said the room I booked was spoiled due to pipe leakage. He offered free upgrade to a bigger but more expensive room. I thought it was in the same homestay. Turn out that I was referred to another homestay,still on the same street though I do not like the room, the room was a bit run down and the soundproofing was bad. I could hear door banging and stomping on stairs in the middle of the night. I felt tricked and misled but I do bear some responsibilities because I didn't double confirm and ask for exact room photos before hand, the new address was only sent few hours before my flight which was too late for free cancellation. Can't comment on the room because I didn't stay there but location wise it is pretty good. Please be cautious if you were offered rearrangement.

This is have beautiful view and near Xihu, Hangzhou zoo ~ Service is good, friendly. I will come back again.
You can come and see the tea village, have so many activities in there. May be stay on 2-3 days because the city is so large

The town is decent, but the hotel itself is down a little lane (a bit hard to find) and not very scenic at all. It seems the hotel might be quite new, because it looks like they’re still unpacking. The breakfast was just noodles - no tea - I’m a tiny dirty cold room. The room looks nice in photos but feels quite cheap when you’re in there. Service was fine, they didn’t speak hardly any English which is totally fine but worth noting if that’s an issue.

Service: Very good👍! The aunt and the front desk guy are very enthusiastic! They took the initiative to make tea for us. We were ready to pay for tea, but the aunt said that our tea is free, so she made it for you! And she washed the cups and ordered tea for us from the beginning, and asked us to continue drinking tea at night🫖chatting hh I felt at home😭

Hygiene: Hygiene is also very considerate! I have always been worried about the hygiene of the hotel toilet. I didn’t expect that the toilet of this homestay has a smart plastic film, which can be replaced with a new plastic cushion with one click, which is much more reassuring!
