Hangzhou West Lake Liuyingli Hotel

The location and natural surroundings are, as expected, outstanding. Compared to Wang Zhuang where I've stayed before, this place is smaller and more refined. The rooms are a bit small, but the big advantage is the direct view of the most scenic part of the garden and West Lake. Opening the window to see the greenery is truly refreshing. Breakfast is exquisite. The hotel staff are also very professional, with the exception of one male receptionist at check-in who was a bit inflexible and spoke rather stiffly. All other staff were smiling, polite, and provided excellent service. The beautiful waitress at the Chinese restaurant even remembered me from dinner the night before when I came for breakfast the next day and greeted me warmly. Mr. Sun Wei from the concierge helped me with my luggage both at check-in and check-out. Mr. Zheng from the car team drove us to the most scenic part of Jiuxi and patiently waited for us while we enjoyed stream tracing; my child was happy, and I was relaxed. The coffee shop is tranquil, and the female staff there are thoughtful. I'm already planning for my parents to visit again!

My stay at Liuyingli Hotel was excellent! I accidentally left my car phone holder in the room when I checked out, but thanks to the diligent housekeeping staff, Liu Guifen, she noticed it, proactively contacted me, and even helped mail it back. Her communication was polite and thoughtful, and she handled everything responsibly. Thumbs up for such great service! 👍

This was my first time staying at the Liuying Hotel. The room was incredibly spacious, especially the bathroom, which was beautifully designed – you could tell a lot of thought went into it. The room also had thoughtful touches, like mosquito repellent, which was very effective. You can easily walk out and explore West Lake, and Hefang Street is also quite close. The scenery is stunning, and the breakfast was delicious. The only minor drawback was the fitness center facilities; I was a bit surprised by the equipment for a five-star hotel.

Traveling with my elderly mother, this hotel, one of the three major state guesthouses by West Lake, truly won my heart. The pros are particularly outstanding: 1. **Excellent Location**: Situated on Nanshan Road right by West Lake, it's next to the 'Orioles Singing in the Willows' scenic spot and very close to attractions like Leifeng Pagoda. You can even see Leifeng Pagoda from the hotel (I heard you can see it from some rooms). 2. **Beautiful Environment**: Bordering West Lake, it also boasts its own private garden. The garden-view twin room we stayed in offered direct views of both the garden and the lake (Picture 1), which was absolutely stunning! 3. **Attentive Service**: The staff helped us carry our luggage to the room, which was very considerate, especially since we were traveling with an elderly person. Of course, there were a few minor downsides: 1. **Small Room**: The room size didn't quite justify the price. 2. **Damp Smell**: The lobby of the building where our room was located had a slight musty smell. 3. **Average Breakfast**: The breakfast selection was quite ordinary.

The hotel is right next to West Lake, just a few steps away, offering fantastic views. The room and bathroom were spacious, making for a very comfortable stay. The staff were also incredibly friendly. Highly recommend!

Quite nice, the hotel is small but charming. I just forgot that breakfast wasn't included in the package.

The location is excellent, especially the hotel's car fleet which is very convenient. Having an access pass allows entry into the scenic area. Master Mu was very friendly. The hotel's tea room and bar also offer great views. I will definitely come back again.

Nestled deep within 'Orioles Singing in the Willows', one of the Ten Scenes of West Lake, this hotel boasts a 400-meter private lakefront and an exclusive pier. Here, 'bustle outside the walls, tranquility within', allowing guests to completely escape the surging crowds of West Lake. The garden design exudes classic Jiangnan charm, and from the courtyard or some of the lake-view rooms, you can gaze upon the stunning sunset and night views of Leifeng Pagoda and Three Ponds Mirroring the Moon.

Great location, with views that surpass even those of the Xihu State Guest House and Wang Zhuang in terms of pure scenery. You get panoramic views of West Lake. The room was small but the bathroom was quite spacious. The service was excellent, and the breakfast was good. I'll definitely stay here again.
