Our stay was exceptionally pleasant at this cozy hotel. The manager was incredibly hospitable, offering us a choice between two rooms. She made a point to inquire each evening about our preferred breakfast time. The breakfast itself had a delightful Chinese village charm and was utterly delicious. However, the only drawback was the pervasive cold throughout the hotel, despite having a heater in our room. The hotel's proximity to the mountain made it incredibly convenient for skiing—a major plus for us. It was so well-located that we could easily walk to the bus stop for a ride up the mountain. The staff's friendliness towards us, although we are foreigners, was heartwarming; we never felt out of place. The amenities added to the comfort of our stay. Hot water was always available in the shower, and the provision of toothbrushes, shower gel, soap, towels, indoor slippers, and flip-flops for the shower was a thoughtful touch. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to enjoy skiing or snowboarding in the winter, or for those seeking a peaceful retreat from the city hustle in the summer. Our experience here was truly memorable and delightful.

The homestay is at the foot of Daming Mountain and the transportation is convenient. Now I finally know why it is called ”Moge”. The room has a big bed and a small bed, very friendly to parent-child travel. The room was also very clean and there was no smell. At night, the proprietress also set off fireworks for us. It is said that the hotel's tap water is taken from the mountain, and the water quality is very good, better than Nongfu Spring. This may be the reason. In the case of relatively tight standard housing resources, we actively coordinated, offered preferential prices and reserved the requested rooms. Xiaozhang immediately gave her own tea to us when she learned that we could not buy tea in the surrounding area. We, knowing that we were going to stay for a week, took the initiative to take a number of hangers for us to dry our clothes. Every bit of it reflects their awareness of proactive and thoughtful service. Personally, I think the shortcomings may be due to the age of construction and the structure of the building. The space in the shower room is a bit small for a slightly taller person, and some dead corners of the guest room need to be cleaned carefully. Later I learned that the people who tidy up the rooms during the Spring Festival are all aunties who come over temporarily. I understand that there will be insufficient manpower during the Spring Festival, but the basic hygiene and tidying of the hotel must be ensured. I don’t know why the bath water was not hot on the first night, but it was OK on the second night. But in the middle of the second night, I don't know if it was a power outage or something, but the electric curtains opened by themselves. Therefore, hotels need to consider basic services and how to balance and ensure service quality during peak seasons.
