Excellent stay. Good location. The staff were friendly and kind.

Reception were very friendly and helped to book my taxis (cheaper than getting a Grab taxi). The room itself was very clean and housekeeping were attentive and cleared out bins etc everyday. The location is also very good - near old town area and great to visit by going around the lake.

Picture 1 is this hotel, Hanoi Sunshine Hotel, and pictures 2-4 are where we stayed, Hanoi Sena Hotel & Travel! When we arrived, they said there were no rooms, so they took us to this guesthouse across the street. The first floor was being renovated, and the upstairs furniture was old except for the walls being repainted, just like a guesthouse. Safety is the first priority when you are out, and since we only booked one night, we didn't argue with the merchant! We strongly recommend that Ctrip strictly review such unscrupulous merchants, and such unscrupulous merchants suspected of selling the same room to multiple customers should be removed from the shelves to prevent consumers from being deceived again!
