Sunway Hotel Hanoi Reviews

I stay there for 13 days for my business trip. The staff are accommodating.

＜Pro＞ 1. Good value for money. 2. Very clean, albeit it seems a fairly old hotel. 3. Hot shower and cool enough aircon. 4. Good location. It's in a nice and quiet street slightly outside the Old Quarter. Within a local community, there are some local amenities including street stalls, cafe, eateries and hair salon all within 1-3 minutes walk. ＜CON＞ 1. Housekeeper rang the doorbell at 09:30 and came into the room to check whether we had any laundry to send in. 2. No handheld shower available. Only an old-fashion fixed shower head. 3. Too dim the room (room 603) at night. But the other room (room 705) which is of the same size and type has more lights and is better lit. 4. No shaver readily available in the shower room (didn't bother to ask whether there's one upon request). 5. No ramp available at the entrance door (but doorman did help with lifting the luggage up the stairs and into the hotel). 6. Reception was not manned when we returned at appx 02:30.

Very nice and comfortable hotel away from the noise and pollution in old quarter. Booked this place last minute but it was a very good choice. The staff were excellent and rooms extremely clean. If you want a good night’s rest, this is definitely a good choice

It's a bit far to walk from the old town, it takes more than half an hour. The hotel is generally good. It's okay if you just want to stay. It doesn't have many special facilities.

A hotel worth recommending. It’s a good hotel to stay in Hanoi.

If you don’t want to stay in the old town, you can enjoy a quiet night here at night. Although it is called a four-star hotel, it does not have a swimming pool. There are high-end restaurants nearby and it is not far from the Hanoi Opera House! It’s convenient for tour groups to gather in the morning!

The room was nice and very close to Hanoi Old Quarter. Places to eat nearby are very convenient. I hope it will get better and better in the future

There was so much water in the bathroom that I even fell asleep. The price and conditions were really bad. I was also drunk.

It is the best hotel I have stayed in Hanoi, bar none. Very clean and tidy. Sound insulation is good. The facilities are very complete. The breakfast is also the richest and the best dining environment I have ever eaten.
