We checked in the hotel in a cold night and were touched when the thoughtful counter staff gifted us items that we can use to keep ourselves warm. The hotel room is spacious and clean. If you stay there, do remember to check out the morning market behind the hotel for a unique local experience. Do go early because they close at 9am.

The hotel staffs were not as helpful as expected. Senior patrons need to carry their luggages into the hotel lobby without ramp or help from the hotel staffs.

What a wonderful hotel, super good hospitality, bargain price and best location closer to Central street and SF river.

The location is really convenient and the staff is friendly.

The room was full of mold in the carpet. The water took long to warm. One light burned, asked to change. They didn't change.

Very average hotel to spend a couple of nights in Harbin without having to spend too much money. A little far from the main attractions so you will have to walk about 20 minutes to get anywhere. The room was clean and we had all we needed. Towels I had thrown on the floor to clean were put back on the window sill to be used again but that is fair enough. My only issue is that the hotel made us pay for a towel that had changed color because of my dyed hair. Supposedly they couldn’t get it clean again. I have this issue at home as well and know that just running it through the washing machine 1x on a normal setting is enough to get them back to white.

Overall, I am very satisfied with my stay here. The staff was very helpful when I arrived; they assisted me with signing up for the local health code app and when I needed to find a location to test before leaving Harbin the provided me with an address and phone number for the local test center. Major Pros: - Bed is Super comfortable, clean and they provide you with 3 different types of pillows (each filled with a different material) perhaps for finding your best fit... - 2 bottles of water free per day and a hot water kettle - Paraben free shampoo and body wash & toothbrush - heating in the room is super warm - Incredible location... central so you are not far from any attraction 2 hour walk (in winter) to iceland and only like 10 rmb taxi ride back to hotel from there... 3 hour walk to tigers. and again 10-15 rmb back to hotel... 15-20 minute walk to Sophia's Cathedral and the shopping food street. Dragon tower less than an hours walk. Cons: - No Hot Water :( Neither in the sink nor the shower... I ran it both directions for several minutes... ice cold... had to shower my hair and then towel wash my body because it was too cold... biggest con. - No breakfast available... not even for a charge... food room in picture was not seen during my stay... not sure if this was because of the Holiday or what... but I was there 5 nights... - Sink was marble like material and had clearly broken in half. It was glued back together and then taped to hold it back in place.... not an issue... just strange. SORRY I had intended to take more photos but I forgot. Great place if you don't need luxury. Very comfortable stay.

Special shout-out to Huayi Oriental Hotel!!! 5 out of 5 star ratings The room is so cozy, bed has memory foam mattress (I really slept so well), the water in the shower is warm/hot, and most of all - the staff are so helpful and accommodating. Looking forward to stay here again…if ever I decided to come visit Harbin. ❤️ 🇨🇳

It's my second stay at this hotel. It's clean and the rooms are spacious. It's located within 20 min walk from Sofia's Cathedral. I recommend it if you are looking for a low price but good quality.

I arrived at the hotel in the morning and originally thought that I could check in in the afternoon, but the front desk said that there were rooms that had been cleaned in advance and I could check in early. I really like it. The hotel lobby is decorated in a more modern style. There is a snack counter in the lounge area where you can take snacks. The corridor is a bit dark, but the room is well lit. Northeast China is a bit dry in autumn, so you need to bring some moisturizing skin care products. The front desk also prepared hand cream. If you forget to bring it, you can ask the front desk. It is very convenient to go out for dinner at 9 o'clock. There is a morning market in the morning. You can try the Northeastern restaurant at noon. The taste is not bad. The service staff has a good attitude, and they answer all questions with a gentle attitude. Recommended

The hotel is conveniently located, not far from Central Street, Red and Special Morning Market, Sophia Cathedral, and Flood Control Memorial Tower. It is within walking distance and very suitable for travel and living. The hygiene and environment are good, and the service is better. The front desk and cleaning staff are friendly and never tired of asking questions. The morning market is just outside the door, 2-3 minutes walk away, and there are a lot of food and drinks. In the lobby, there are rich afternoon teas and travel guides for going out, which made us feel the service characteristics of this hotel when we first came to Harbin.

The hotel will prepare a souvenir for you when you check out, a very nice hand cream. The Northeast is a bit dry in autumn, so this is very thoughtful. The room was upgraded because they saw that there were three of us. This was a pleasant surprise. The front desk was very considerate. When I asked for a quilt, an auntie brought it to me very quickly. Her attitude was very gentle. The room is not far from Central Street, about a ten-minute walk. I went directly to the Red Brick Morning Market in the morning. It is very close. The morning market is very lively and there are many things to eat. The hotel also has a guide to nearby tourism for reference. The facilities are also complete. I highly recommend it. It is very cost-effective.
