Fairfield by Marriott Harbin (Central Street Railway Station) Reviews

Decent hotel for the price. The elevator area could use a refresh. About a 2 min walk to the nearest metro station and close to the cathedral. Less close but still walkable to zhongyang street. Breakfast is a good spread and staff were nice and helpful, would stay again.

Went during spring time. Flew to Harbin so didn't use the train stations. Hotel was still great location. It is near Harbin train station too. Need to take taxi from airport to hotel since there's no subway from the airport. Took around 40 min. Hotel is a couple min walk from subway station. It's also a short walk to main tourist attractions - church and market. Not far from walking street. Hotel room was clean and looked new. Beds soft and pillows not bad. Bathroom was great. Clean and bright. Only a small sofa and no chair in room. Enough room to store all luggage though. They had toothbrushes and comb for toiletries. Quiet at night and morning. Great stay there. Would stay again.

Not a very big hotel ,with no room service. If any food is required , have to proceed to front desk lady who would gladly help you to order in with their chinese apps. Breakfast was good , room was good. Had a good stay overall !

Walking distance from harbin station and from all the attractions. Building is easy to locate. Reception was helpful and polite. Room is very clean and spacious. Enjoyed my stay alot.

Front counter, Mr. Yang, helps us to book a cab depart at wee hours to airport as we do not have local number to book a cab online (very inconvenience for foreigners). Thanks n cheers Mr. Yang.

We had a very pleasant stay at Fairfield by Marriott 😊 the room was very clean and comfortable. Location was perfect. Special thanks to kind and cheerful Amanda at the front desk, who helped us with our laundry and with buying items from vending machine. And special thanks to Dragon Tan who always greeted us kindly every morning at the restaurant. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, thank you very much for your hospitality!

Room was nice and warm in winter. Beds were comfortable. However, I found the floor a bit dusty at the corners. Service was impeccable. Wilson Yang at the reception was friendly and patient, answering our questions patently. Dragon Tan was also kind and welcoming to us at the dining area. There was a large selection of food at the breakfast buffet, unfortunately I was in a rush and did not try them all. Thank you to all staff for your warm hospitality.

The service here was exceptional. Not only was the room tidy, the staff members were also extremely friendly and informative. The food was great and delicious. I would like to commend Dragon Tan and Kevin Gao for their excellent service, not only were they able to provide us with utmost support, they were also extremely kind and helpful. After all this, we would wish to stay here for more days if time permitted us :)

Location close to metro and central areas. Breakfast and service good. Small maintenance required but all over a good choice for a short city trip.

The hotel was sufficient, nothing fancy. The room was well-appointed with the necessary amenities and the bed was comfortable. Complaints: the floor was extremely cold and the central heat didn’t work. They do provide a space heater, which worked fine. We found hairs on the bathroom sink and shower floor when we arrived. There is no soundproofing - we could hear kids yelling down the hall and adults too. There was also a man smoking in the hallway excessively. The location is good for visiting the cathedral and taking the metro. Overall, it’s a good value for the money but next time, I would pay more for a luxury hotel.

Great location to and from the Airport and definitely a fantastic hotel, if you need to see all the sights and sounds of the winter wonderland city of Harbin.
