Castle Cottage Inn

There are two very good reasons to go to Harlech. The Castle and Castle Cottage Inn! Pattra and Darryl are warm, friendly and so professional. Firstly excellent location, adjacent to the Castle itself. Offering all you could need and more. Also has parking. There is a separate Breakfast room, Pattra's Restaurant and The Aviation Bar - with a wonderful view. Choice of 'British' menu and Thai menu for dinner. If you choose to have dinner, which you should, we would recommend the Thai option. It was delicious! Breakfast was beautifully laid out with extensive choices including cooked options. The rooms are immaculate, so well appointed, absolutely faultless. Tea and coffee making. Lovely shower room - all high quality toiletries and fixtures and fittings. So many first class personal touches! The beds were so comfortable and the linens top quality. The time frame for breakfast is a rather small window 8-9am. However that probably suits the majority of travellers to wales. We just didn’t want to leave the lovely beds! Thank you both!

I have known Pattra and Daryll for a long time. I always stay with them as they look after me so well. The facilities are first class, the staff are so helpful and Pattra is the perfect host. I did a review after prompting but clicked the wrong button. Hopefully this will help correct things, its a six star rating at least! Frank

Superb warm welcome from Patra, wonderful spacious room, lovely tasty evening meal, superb night's sleep in very comfortable bed, lovely breakfast to send us on our way. Outstanding views and proximity to Harlech Castle make this a must do if you are in the area and only about 20 minutes from the amazing fantasy of Portmerion. We will be back, highly recommend!

Fantastic stay at Castle Cottage in a beautiful upgraded room. We were met by Pattra who could not have been more hospitable, upon learning that we were staying to celebrate a birthday, we were welcomed with an upgraded room, prosecco and Welsh Cakes. The host made us very welcome in their fantastic Aviation bar, followed by a wholesome breakfast the following morning. Pattra and the team could not do enough for us to ensure we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Many thanks.

Beautiful!! And attached to Harlech Castle!!! Parts is lovely and cute pub for guests and our room views were incredible- somehow we got what appeared to be a suite! Highly recommend!
