It's just that the facilities are too old. It would be better if the facilities can be improved. The room is relatively large. For me, the location is more convenient. There is no air-conditioning and there is a garden. I feel that it should be refurbished to be worthy of the price.

Lovely hotel. Loved original design and features. Room was spacious and warm. Friendly staff and breakfast on the morning was great. Only issue no ev parking which we would’ve liked, also its £10 to park your car which wasn’t mentioned when we booked. Overall nice hotel and would definitely recommend and visit again

The staff couldn’t do too much for us . Simon on reception was absolutely lovely and very helpful- the manager was kind and the food was excellent . Absolutely couldn’t complain about anything - they went above and beyond in every aspect . We will definitely go back

Good check in, room small but clean and comfortable. Breakfast food good, but no indication as to what was in the receptacles, further the orange juice resembled over diluted squash.
Would we go back yes.

Room was cleaned every day the inspected.Food was good and breakfast plentiful.Drinks a bit expensive but only to be expected

Had an amazing weekend (30th and 31st Aug) room 341.Room comfortable and clean although just a couple of things could have been improved i:e final touches on painting and decorating.The pipes to the bathroom radiator had recently had some work done on them and only one pipe had been re painted.Only a little thing but it was glaringly obvious and it did not affect our stay one bit.Bar prices very reasonable and in line with Harrogate bars and eateries.Ate in the restaurant on Sat night and the staff had remembered it was our wedding anniversary and decorated our desserts with a chocolate happy wedding anniversary messageThe little touches mean a lot.We were lucky with the weather and had a lovely Saturday afternoon sat on the lawns outside the fron of hotel.All staff we met were polite,courteous and pleasant but special mention to the young lad working the bar on saturday afternoon and our young waitresses on Saturday night.All staff a credit to the hotel.
