My husband and I once again had the pleasure of a quick weekend breakaway at Mount Amanzi from Friday, 9 August – Sunday 11 August 2016. We were warmly welcomed by friendly staff members at reception. The resort was very well maintained and upgrades could be seen all around. We especially thought the newly planted garden around the putt – putt course was a delightful and beautiful addition. We stayed in a four sleeper chalet (53) in the Dikbas Camp. The location of the chalet was very private. It was also within easy walking distance to the heated pool for my husband’s late afternoon dip. The chalet was furnished with modern décor and furniture and boasted high quality cutlery and crockery. It consisted of two bedrooms - one upstairs with a double bed and one downstairs with two single beds (which we pulled together). The bathroom was spacious and the whole unit was sparkling clean. A bar of soap was provided in the bathroom. I packed my own shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. We also took our own swimming towels. The chalet was equipped with an air conditioner which came in very handy in the heat. We discovered the hair dryer in a drawer of the upstairs bedroom after we initially thought there was no hair dryer available. Although there are a lot of activities at and around the resort we utilized our weekend by sleeping late and spending a romantic break from the hustle and bustle of the city. We once again thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Mount Amanzi and we look forward to our next visit.
