Cool older building but seriously lacking on the maintenance and customer service fronts. Our room safe didn’t work, the bathroom fan didn’t work, and our door lock stopped functioning partway through the trip & we got locked out (battery died, so fixable but was at bad time & resulted in us being late to our event). The elevator smelled like a dog kennel, staff not really friendly or helpful (with exception of valets who were great). Will look elsewhere next time I’m in town.

Great clean hotel! I loved the “homey” feeling since the room I stayed in is small and comfortable. I had a wonderful restful night. Great TV too. I had the opportunity to watch the morning mass before going to work. Also the lovely front desk receptionist Noah was very friendly and helpful.

The Goodwin Hotel is a beautifully decorated unique boutique hotel. The elegant but comfortable decor is worth the high price tag. What we found lacking from a hotel of this grandeur was the amenities that you would expect of even lesser hotels. No coffee maker in the room, no microwave, only two towels in a king sized room, no breakfast offered, and probably the worst part was the lack of sound proofing we could hear the noise from people in the hall, the rooms above and below us and the traffic on the street. It was overall a nice hotel stay with nice staff, but with the price I would have rathered stay at the Marriott where you know what you're getting with the price.

My wife and I spent our 27th wedding anniversary at the Goodwin. The stay exceeded our expectations. The staff was friendly, the location was convenient and the room was sexy!

The place is nice on the whole , but room was very small and had no microwave. Also no view of outside but to the inside of a connected building . The door to the room had to be hollow because in the morning you could hear everyone’s comings and goings. No parking on site you are given the option of valet for $35 a day . So with the price of the room being over $350 a night you get a small room with a hollow door for noise no microwave , no view and no free parking . Just my expirience folks .
