J'ai passé un super séjour à l'Auberge de la Source. L'accueil et l'équipe étaient au top. J'ai logé dans une jolie chambre et aussi dans le bivouac au pied des dunes avec musique et bon repas. Merci beaucoup pour les magnifiques moments passés !

A big thank you to Hassan and his brothers for their great kindness and for allowing us to live a dream! The hostel is superb, the room very pretty, spacious and clean. The Experience with camels in the dunes was great and the night at the camp was magical, an extraordinary atmosphere! And the food was delicious. The quad ride the next morning was the icing on the cake. A total immersion in the desert, breathtaking... great sensations and a top-notch guide! We will be happy to recommend...

i spent three weeks in morocco and la source was my best auberge experience. the staff and owners were helpful on another level with everything. i had some trouble that could have become serious on the last day, but it was solved only because of their trust in me. i intend to come back to this wonderful place.

This is a fantastic hotel on the edge of the Sahara Desert. A very warm welcome was received. Amazing camel ride and camp dinner then entertainment afterwards. Absolutely magical. The hotel room was spacious and clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was great and plentiful. Could not recommend this place highly enough. It is an absolute bargain and a real gem.

Incredible experience lived with the Berbers of this Inn and the Camel. Not for the activities offered but for the sincere exchanges with them. I, who also work with animals and in tourism, have an incredible exchange with camel drivers and dromedaries. Only one regret, I didn't stay.

If we ever go to the Sahara again, we'll stay at the Auberge de la source! · Great host gives you a family feeling. Free choice of rooms. Huge bed, but the mattress is very hard. Room is functional but cleverly furnished, with lots of usable power sockets. Bathroom is cleverly laid out and well equipped. 5-star hotel location on the first line of the desert. Hassan took us to a great quad bike rental and found us great vehicles and a top guide. We had a lot of fun in the big sandpit! For dinner we accepted the hotel's offer of the tanghine menu, a great decision, it was absolutely delicious. Breakfast is buffet style. Delicious ingredients, fresh and typical of the country! That meant everyone could eat as much as they wanted and whatever they wanted. Very quiet location. We couldn't use the swimming pool as it was too cold for us. But there was a hot shower... All in all, a recommendation for a stay in Merzouga! Thank you Hassan, we've had a lot of emotions here!

The rooms are very cozy, beautiful, clean and spacious. Everyone is super attentive, polite and receptive. The food is delicious and plentiful. Incredible tours. I highly recommend it, the best stay I've had.

First time in Morocco and the Sahara desert and I couldn't have a better experience. From reception, service, to food and camping in the desert. Everything sensational!!! Swimming pool at the hotel, and super clean and equipped rooms. And the best: facing the desert.

Incredibly special experience. I’m stunned to see the 1* overall rating as I found throughout my stay nothing but clean venues and friendly/helpful staff. The food was good, my tent (despite being in the desert) had no insects, the camels were treated much better than I’d have ever imagined and everyone, especially Hamid, was super friendly, well informed and patient, even during time of Ramadan, where you’d imagine them to be tired and hungry. I trekked out before midnight and managed to witness a meteor falling (mind blowing) and somehow lost my phone out of my pocket 🙈 I told Hamid and we went in search of it, he even told me I could sit and wait and he’d follow the footsteps!! Together we somehow found my phone and enjoyed a mint tea together, whilst speaking about everything from the animals in the desert in both summer and winter, the irrigation systems used, the differing of people and culture and traditions across the country and its history. I learned so much during this trip and couldn’t recommend it more! Absolute must visit 💫
