Convenient but in bad shape. Toilet leaking, lights out

The main reason to stay here was the heated pool and it wasn’t heated at all

My mom is a Marriott Club member and booked two rooms for us to stay with them on our road trip together. The proximity to the interstate and restaurants was good and we were able to grab Raising Cane's to take to our room for dinner. We got in around 9 pm and just planned to stay the night. Our children wanted to go swimming and we were told at the front desk that it's a heated pool. We got them dressed and went down only to find freezing cold water that they stepped into and got right back out. Our room felt old and not very clean. Our toilet didn't flush properly on its own and my husband had to lift the lid to flush it manually. Our front door didn't close properly, and we were unsure if it was safely locked all night. The breakfast was ok, but some items felt stale. I don't think I'll ever need to stay in this area again but if I did, I would find another place.

For a Marriott property, this was a MAJOR disappointment! I would not recommend this property at all. It felt old, tired and dingey, My room was an upgrade, which seemed nice at first, then I started noticing issues, I had to go down to front desk 7 times! No soap in the bathroom or shower, then no Kleenex and front desk looked and said they didn’t have any ??!! My toilet ran constantly-no one onsite to fix it. The couch in the room had broken springs in it so when you sat on it it made a loud noise and you sank down. The mattress was lumpy-which was surprising as Marriott usually has great beds-not here! The pillows weren’t great either, not the usual down ones. The bathroom floor was kind of dirty-like housekeeping hadn’t swept. Bits of paper and trash on the floor, used napkins on floor behind refrigerator-which, by the way did not have a freezer section. I could go on but you get the idea, a far cry from “Marriott Service” Thus properly is also very hard to find. I stopped at a Courtyard to ask where it was, they didn’t even know and it was only 3 blocks away! I had to call the hotel to ask how to find them. For the price they charge I felt totally gyped! I am a Marriott Bonvoy member and booked here expecting the same Marriott wonderful-ness and was so disappointed! Stay elsewhere until this property is upgraded! Oh, and bring your own soap and Kleenex. Grrr..,

By far, the worst Marriott-affiliated property I’ve ever visited. The toilet was black with stains, the sink faucet covered in lime scale, and the shower grout was stained almost in its entirety. The security latch on the door was missing. A general musty smell. And sticky carpet. I know they are anticipating a remodel soon, but in the meantime, it seems like they’ve just given up. Stay somewhere else!

Location is awkward to find.

Pool was closed for repairs--the main reason why I chose this hotel instead of the many others in the area.

When we arrived the drive in the grass needed mowing (no curb appeal) and weeds were knee deep. Upon checking in the port of cochlear was nice and clean however when we went to our room the bed was uncomfortable and lights were out in the bathroom and couldn't hardly see. The air conditioner needs replaced and it was hot in our room. This is our second time here and it will definitely be our last. My husband builds Marriott properties and he said Marriott wouldn't like what they saw!
